They are I went with the most expensive Panasonic and was bitting my nails waiting on it! But it came safe and sound a little over a week I think they build them to order.
220-Electronics is excellent at modifying the players that they sell. I currently have a basic LG blu ray player, and it works great. You won't regret buying a player from them.
What's amusing alot of those umbrella and german blus are actually region free even if they say they are b. However I got 2 region free blu ray players. Primarily uk arrow, eureka! And 88 films. As well as region 2,3 dvds.
A lot of them are I tried pointing that out in the video but cut that part out I felt like I was rambling on. But thats how it started for me I ordered a few Arrow video titles off ebay and they said region B, but worked anyway. So when I 1st saw the region mismatch error message I was disappointed.
@@80sMadeConsumer I should correct 2 region free bluray players. But a ton of uk region b discs thanks to eureka and 88 films hong kong releases.
@@Bisaju2 nice
Region locking is a pain in the arse. And the discs are permanently handicapped to a region free player. Let's say it breaks down and you can't get another one? You're stuffed. And who knows with players declining.
That is for sure a problem and the main reason I have a back up player and have also ripped my favorites to my local NAS and use the plex server mostly for tv shows but my favorites are there.
When I upgrade to 4K I made sure to get a region free player just in case. Didn't need it for the longest time, but I felt good knowing that I had it. But just in the last week or so I've had to order two different blu-rays from Amazon UK that were region B because I couldn't find them anywhere else. The live action Little Mermaid, which I really only bought for the 4K so I guess that didn't matter, and the Alien six-pack that I got a smoking deal on.
That Alien set is nice, just have 1&2 on 4k I do miss my Quadrilogy blu-rays.
