Cirrhosis of the liver is no joke, I saw someone deteriorate and die from it because his job would give him a box of hard liquor once a month and he’d drink it. Seeing him on his death bed was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen. Take care of yourselves
@California Cruzin' I am really sorry you are dealing with this addiction. I understand how serious it is to stop now because alcoholism is a disease and stopping on your own could kill you. A friend of mine tried to quit drinking suddenly after years of addiction and he had a seizure that landed him in the hospital. They offered him a detox program at that time but he didn't do it. He had a stroke and brain bleed not long after that which left him with partial paralysis. Then 6 months ago he had a heart attack and lost sight in one eye and cant walk at all. He's stopped drinking after going to rehab but is a shell of himself. If you can get into a program, I encourage you to try while you still can. You can fight through this and save your life. I'm sure there are so many reasons to start living your best life. I'm rooting for you!
