    I just love how mom is looking at pops, to make sure he's feeding the babies, the right way ❤️

      Yesterday and today was bittersweet, young ones flew out, I missed the moment when that happened, but the kids are still around and parents are still feeding them, just not in the nest anymore. I'll make a longer video soon.

      @@MichalOlender I felt that way too last year when the babies flew out of the nest in August. However, now in April, I found a new nest close to where the last year’s nest was located. Today, 2 babies hatched and the 3rd one is making its way out. I’d like to think it’s the same robin parents from last year because I fed them fruits everyday and helped them chasing away a cat when the last baby was barely able to fly. So pay close attention, you might find a new nest this year!

      @@fvnt0miix953 that's so cool you got to experience that! We left the nest and this year we had a House Finch couple with 3 babies, but sadly, I believe day 10 after hatching, either a crow or a hawk must have taken them, they were just gone, defnitely not ready to leave. I captured mom on gopro coming to the nest, and looking for and calling them :/

    Mom and Dad together! That’s the kind of family human beings should be looking at all this time! No wonder the babies are raised so well!!

      That part is very cute indeed. But I caught on camera the moment when the babies leave the nest. It's the mom flying towards the nest with her legs straight and talons out, literally kicking the babies out of the nest. Luckily we don't do that😅

      Imo they are very cute the first few days, but then they get into this “ugly duckling” stage when they grow feathers. They become beautiful once the feathers are almost fully grown.

      It’s the other way for me. They are sooooo ugly at this point but they become cute as they grow

      Kids are all grown up and out of the nest, it really surprised me how they leave it, I'll make a longer video next week from egg to out of the nest :)

    I’ve had a pair of American robins nest in a tree in my backyard and after about two weeks of them raising their baby’s a falcon attacked and left the mother to fend for herself and her baby’s and it’s the most devastating thing I’ve had to witness I’m glad to see these birds is reminds me of when they were both still with eachother

    • @MichalOlender
      @MichalOlender  Рік тому

      Man that’s awful. We had a new pair recently, with babies, and once day the babies got eaten up as well. It was probably crows, I’ve seen them doing it in the neighborhood. Nature of the nature.
