    Also want to note - NO ONE NEEDS TO THIS!!!! I just wanted to be transparent about what it takes for ME to achieve the grades that I personally want. I’m not a quick learner so it takes me a little longer and I have to put in extra time than other students. So pleaseeeeeee don’t follow my lead!! Do things the healthier, more chill way!! Whatever works for you! And your life 💛💛💛💛 just sharing what *I* personally do! But ask your teachers for guidance on the best schedule for you and add lots of breaks if you need them 💛💛💛

      Thank you for sharing! I also have to study HARD to get the grades I want.

    Vee I have to say good for you but to other people in the audience I also really want to emphasize this. For many reasons like tiredness, mental health issues, neurodivergent conditions, your physical health, whether you are prone to get exhausted, or whether this is your normal work style, depending on all these factor… working for 12h is not for everyone.❤

    • @veekativhu_

      Absolutely!! I was just sharing how I do it since I get asked a lot! You don’t have to!! Please do whatever works for you and however many hours you can cope with!
      I often only post vids of my day and just show it without saying anything and people always ask me to share the actual tips of what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. So thought to start!
      But if you guys prefer just visuals and music but no explanation of how many hours or what techniques that’s also fine!
      Im super aware that I work overtime and there are other people on the internet who can probably show you healthy ways of doing this! Whereas I do what I know works well for me!
      I can also consider sharing the recommended version of things like “study for four hours a day spread out with lots of breaks” rather than what I actually do!
      Let me know coz I’m not sure what the best approach is
      I just wouldn’t want to lie to you either. I do study for long long hours regularly and this video explains how x💛

      @veekativhu_ hey vee, I found this video really helpful and I thought that you did a good job of telling us that this type of study is different from what a normal study day would be. I think a lot of people, myself included, look up to your work ethic as a high achieving student so these types of videos are very helpful 😊

      @@veekativhu_ exactly!! People should do what is good for them. People should also take their personal circumstances into account. I guess what i meant is that no one is “less than” when they cannot do many hours a day due to reasons like health.

    Happy this works for you! I could never study for so long at a time. I treat my studying as a regular office job, I study from eight to five with an hour lunch break and several smaller breaks. It has worked very well for me during my entire time at University and I am now studying my master. It helps I think that I live with my boyfriend who works office hours, so I want to have done all my studying for the day and be free when he gets off work.

I will be sitting for my bar exams in November and this goes along way in helping me prepare best for the exams. Cheers to being Dr. Vee and being an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for myself.

    Hey hey Varaidzo!! My routine is similar to yours. I just started my first year of law school in South Africa and I still use the methods that I used for my IGCSEs and A levels (I'm Zimbabwean so I did them in Zimbabwe). When I have a big test or exam in about a week, I'll study for 18 hours a day (I know it's not healthy). On a day to day, I do 10 hours+: I wake up at 4 and sleep at 11 or 12 (again, I know it's not healthy🥲) and immediately go to the gym, then bath, read my Bible whilst watching a sermon and eating breakfast and then get to work. It has worked so far (I'm a straight A student) so I just stick to it😂. I have exams this month so it has been really tiring, but I'm excited to go back home when I'm done with the semester🤭

    • @veekativhu_
      @veekativhu_  2 місяці тому +2

      Thank you for sharing!! And I feel that everyone needs to find a technique that works best for them! The reality of being a student does suck sometimes when we have to study for hours but it is all worth it and doesn't feel as bad when you're passionate about your studies! As long as you make sure that you prioritise self-care and making sure that you are taking regular breaks to each if needed xxx

      I guess it is all subject to the individual? I meal prep some of my meals so it is just a matter of reheating them in the microwave which doesn't take too long. I also do not feel hungry that often as I eat food that fills me up for a long time x
