      +ceeshat - They will not last 1000 years into the future - they are only dried mud clay, like mud bricks.

    • @72Yonatan
      @72Yonatan 8 років тому

      ***** - You are confused. For clay to last a long time, it must be fired and set aside in a safe place. When people used to build on top of the debris of previous cities, that was a way of guaranteeing that such items would last. Mostly what archeologists find, however, are not whole items but shards or pieces of pottery. Items that were saved and traded or kept in private collections have obviously helped their survival. Where did you read that there are clay pots from ten thousand years ago? I would be interested to see that.

    • @72Yonatan
      @72Yonatan 8 років тому +1

      ***** Fossils are not man made. We are discussing man made pottery here.

    • @72Yonatan
      @72Yonatan 8 років тому

      ***** - In other words, you do not have a link to pottery that was discovered ten thousand years ago. That is what I thought. Most pottery that has been found here in Israel is from prehistoric eras but I do not think any one claims to have found something quite that old. Fossil records could be significantly older than ten thousand years old, but they are not man made items. As a student of cultural anthropology, man made items interest me more. Enjoy the earth and its people.

    Could be used with a few seeds of flowers or whatever in the sphere and once watered, you'd have some flowers/vegetables.
    _Could be made so one can use in a indoor planter._
    Also, one could make these full of wild flower seeds and use them as a 'flower bomb" so to speak. _You know your drive to work you always pass a spot that has weeds or is unsightly, well just toss a seed ball out and wait til it rains!_
    lol
    ~
    Cool art though.
    _Wonder if he coated the final piece(s) in some type of lacquer or something?_ Otherwise, moisture from the air would eventually get in the pores cause these to expand and crack.

    • @jtet9559
      @jtet9559 6 років тому +8

      They are some what fragile, once the plant grows/expands it will crack and fall apart. Adding water will turn these back into mud. And a proper doro dango is 100% dirt, no artificial coating.

    • @cameronwilliams4149
