I usually peel them off and wash the fruit when I get home. I lightly slide a knife under a corner of the label and use my thumb to press the label corner against the blade and peel it off. No damage done.
Considering they are harmful to our environment - YES

Never had a problem with the sticker because I wash my fruit and vegetables and when that sticker gets wet it falls right off
For people who can't find enough to worry about on their own.
You have something to worry about if you have a sticker that says Apeel.. you can't wash off the coating they put on the fruit with that sticker .
I never had ANY troubling taking a sticker off. EVER ...
They don't come off easily. Especially if wet, the gluevgets more sticky. It usually removes some peel too.
Too bad they are plastic.

Seriously you need a video like this to manage your life. I'm 71 since I was a teen I went to the store got a apple or two . Peeled off the sticker and ate it.
I've never had a problem with the stickers. Never saw skin peel off and come off easily.
All fruit needs to be washed before cutting/eating! The sticker comes off easily without touching it when washing!!

Okay, if speaking on this can you make a video on the sticker #s. As research shows that the 4 digits could mean GMO but 5-6 digits could mean organic. Most foods of Walmart aren’t organic but advertised as so. I did minimum research on it not a lot.

All of the fruit stickers I see around here are paper. I generally have no problem whatsoever peeling them off without damaging the fruit.
When I peel the stickers off my tomatoes. It always tears the skin. I wash them after the stickers are off. But I have learned a lot of information in this video and from the comments. Never thought to wet the sticker. I was worried about paper going down my old kitchen sink.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with this. I often have the problem where some of the fruit skin comes off when I remove the sticker. I can never figure out whether I should have my angle grinder on a slower speed, or whether it's because I use the wire brush for too long after I grind the sticker off. 😉

I hate those stickers. I don’t know how, but no matter how careful we are with peeling them off, I find many of them in my compost bin, & it is so tedious sifting them out.
What about pesticides that may be contained in the labels ??
People's doctors have found these stickers in patients lungs , airways, sinuses, throat etc. Some children have choked on these.

This video seems like a bunch of bs. Never had this problem ever in my life.
It’s more overblown than BS, I’ve had it happen to me, but only once and the skin underneath was already a little soft so it pulled off a tiny bit which was enough. It didn’t outright ruin the whole thing but it caused a little browning.
