Akureyri, Iceland was an overnight port with Holland America. Does more time mean a better trip? Let’s find out while we explore the port and the town. As a jumping off point to Myvatn and Goðafoss, the town itself sometimes gets overlooked. So we visit The HOF Cultural and Conference Center to start, then explore the main town including the Akureyri Church and Botanical Gardens. We also did our thermal spa experience at the Forest Lagoon.
