I'm a northerner living down south, retired civil servant, 7 years younger than you and I have so many similar memories. We used to take our children to Butlins, self catering to keep the cost down. Saved to go to Florida. X
Hi Tina I’m in Australia, and I have far too many Christmas things in my house, but I love them all ,as I’m a window also it’s okay, I have had three trips to England and had the best time,my Aunt uses to get the English Woman’s Weekly ever week,so that’s where I got my love all things English, so I’m really enjoying your UA-cam , Best Wishes from Australia 💙🇦🇺

It's funny to hear you say it would have been your Golden Wedding - you seldom hear anyone here in the US talk of Silver, Gold, Platinum weddings - not celebrated in the same way. We're around the same age - I was married in 1967 (I'm 74). My grandparents are from Lancs (Bolton), I'm from London. Cliff Richard was my first crush! We were the same - never took holidays, as I grew up at the Seaside, so there was no need! Went away for the first time on my honeymoon (although only for two days - it's all we could afford!). Love Gemma and Pampered Wolf - great channel! It was nice to get to know you a little better.
