This car is something you don't see every day. If anything you barely see it at al! Todds AMX is nothing short of amazing and different. Some history about AMX was that it was introduced as a competitor to the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Mustang. The AMX was built on a shortened version of the AMC Javelin platform and was designed to be a performance-oriented car. It was available with a variety of engine options, including the powerful 390 cubic inch V8. The AMX was praised for its handling and performance and was successful on the racing circuit. However, production numbers were relatively low, making the 1968 AMX a rare and highly sought-after car among collectors and enthusiasts.

Very cool but was kinda disappointed not to see a blown AMC motor. Always a fan of the amx
Had my 68 out today. All stock.
Love the 68 and also great to see the owner wearing a SRC shirt.
you covered & featured this cool rod superbly - well done
What a beast ! Cars like these I remember as a kid and would have loved to have one , prostreet lives
I was yrs from driving when the pro street craze hit but remember lots of magazine cars well. Something about giant meats and a blower, or big block that never gets old! Car is set up well...some backhalf jobs are sketchy and car gets too squirrely. Get too sideways esp at speed and they can barrel roll.
I’d buy it and call it the silver surfer! Beautiful car!
The color, stance along with the old school cragar ultralites..whats not to love!
Builder did a nice job on it.
Another cool car, another great video, fun in the Sun- Keep the rubber side down!
Nice!!!!!
Cool 😎 !
WOWZER😮
Nice! My cuz had a 73Amx 401/727
71 SST 401 Jav...late 80s I was 18 or 19. Paid $400 for it great daily!
Miss the days when most of these old cars were dirt cheap.
Genial tu contenido muy interesante 😊
Fuck yeah
✌👍
Some of you forgot how many had engine swaps in teh 70s..good AMC engines dont grow on trees. Try finding a nice blower manifold for one
Nothing screams badazz more than a big ol polished huffer reaching for the sky!
At least he drives it unlike the "My PRecious" mentality too many have.
Really sad that there is not a AMC 390 in the car. But I am a AMC guy... For me a ISUZU 4 cylinder better will be a better engine than the GM crap..
Bet if the build iddnt include a blower the 390 would be in there
To handle that kind of power hes better off going with a Dart block.
Doubt any factory stock block of any brand would hold up
Insane car & a great interview as always. Love your channel Bro, keep up the great content
Thank you! Excited for some of the videos we have coming up next. Be on the look out!
@@HotRodHeavenUSA Looking forward to it Bro
Ma' man needs to wear his seatbelt... and I won't buy his "extra padding" excuse. Be careful!
Should be ashamed of not running an AMC engine.
Many of these in the 70s had engine swaps. Not easy to find a good amc mill anymore
