If you're wondering about the countdown thing it's a long standing rule in ZF (The clan Womble plays with) that if someone makes a "That's what she said" joke and no one laughs within 10 seconds you get kicked from the TS though Womble's "UA-cam Phenomenon" comment accelerated it.
That sound is the 30mm Gatling from the A-10. And it actually sounds pretty much just like that. The WRRRRRRRRRR followed by the Infamous BRRRRRRRRT lol
Yeah, from what I understand the A-10 was basically built to hold that weapon and not really anything else. It's a simple design and it does its job really really well. It's a laser beam but instead of light it sends bullets the size of your hand at 3900 rounds per minute. Look up the GAU-8 Avenger.
Ok since you asked. Quick summary of what a round of Arma can look like. Arma is a MilSim game. So Military Simulation. This means a try for as much realism as possible. This results in the game not being super friendly to new players because you have to learn a lot of stuff right of the bat. It has like a million keybinds and you usually play it with a bunch of other people in a teamspeak/discord. What Soviet is playing is usually some kind of custom scenario with a clan or just a group of people. One person is Zeus which is basically a GameMaster who flies over the map and places assets to fight against, builds mission objectives to complete and provides the players with vehicles and such. Zeus controlls the game and builds the scenario in real time. Soviet and co play in platoons build like in real life (i assume) with your normal footsoldiers with some kind of superior who talks to platoonlead. Platoonlead manages all the different players on the ground so they can all work on the objective coherently. A typical game goes as follows: 1. gearing: all players are in some kind of base and pick their gear. Weapon ammo backpack clothes banana ear plugs etc. and so on down to the smallest things 2. briefing: Zeus briefs platoonlead, they brief the squad leads and they brief the foot soldiers 3. deploy: take some kind of vehicle to your target LZ (landingzone) 4. now stating here it depends on the mission. Protecting a convoy, managing a checkpoint, extracting a hostage, clearing a village and so on... This depends on what Zeus came up with 5. This usually is pretty tactical and silent until shit hits the fan 6. Dealing with shit hitting the fan. either the squads can deal with it or they call in airsupport/sniper/tank/mortar help depending on what is available. 7. Somehow in some way you complete your mission objective. It either ends there or back at base. This explanation skipped A LOT i have spend many hours with the clan just practicing. how to communicate how to march how to operate certain vehicles etc. Some scenarios are really fun. You suddenly find yourself surrounded wounded and only with half your squad pinned in a building. Your squad lead is dead your radio operator is dead. You are the next in command now fix this and get your people out of there good luck. stuff like that :D such a good game Warning the game is not really optimized bring a good PC
I am running hardware from 2011, minus the graphics card and the game runs flawlessly, the FPS never really passes 40 and the mod ALiVE increases load times with it being a CPU user. But to say it isn't optimized is a tad misleading. The game is more CPU based then graphics based on it's load priorities.
That sound at 5:40 is known as BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT It is the sound you hear being made from an A-10 Thunderbolt II (AKA Warthog) firing its main canon. And yes, they sound like that in real life and are amazing.
You can do double episodes when you get to the ones you've seen before, to knock them out in fewer videos since they won't be unfamiliar. The subtitling draws attention to the jokes really effectively, and cuts through the multiple voices talking at once where necessary. Plus the moving subtitles for bullet flight as "pew"s moving across the screen, or "fragmentation" like in this case, adds so much in terms of the physical comedy of the action.
Soviet has never shown his face anywhere, he wants it to remain that way, his dog Lulu however gets star billing, along with her happy snort. Cyanide you can find his face anywhere, pics of him appear in some Bullshittery episodes. I'd like to reiterate the Antistasi series 1-5 that some have mentioned already, and Space Engineers, definite highlights of the Soviet collection. The Rocket League one off is bloody hilarious too. Someone else also mentioned Worst Premade Ever, they can be quite good, I'd put them as the next one down from Soviet and co, but sometimes they do go off down strange roads of discussion which usually just end with insults at each other.
Sovvie did mention that he looks like "the most generic white guy ever" at some point so it's probably not like anybody would be too shocked if he ever did a face reveal.
That's actually Mr. Batty. I think he is ZF (possibly next level out) and it's a running joke that Mr. Batty pretends to be Soviet at conventions, online, etc...
Please continue watching everything soviet womble related i love it. Could you please try to get your background static lowered/filtered on your audio though, would be highly appreciated. keep it up. thanks for the content.
If y'all want some context on 5:18, it's called the GAU-8 Avenger. It's an autocannon/minigun mounted on the A-10 Warthog (the ground attack plane that Cyanide is flying) and it makes a farting noise because of the sheer amount of bullets it fires per second. I recommend watching at least 1 video on it.
I'm guessing at the end they were on "Last Man Standing" mode meaning as long as there was a player still active the mission would continue until all players were down that's why Womble couldn't be killed as he was just a spectator
If i recall correctly you can see Cyanides face in of the Space Engineer Bullshitterys as a giant Holo-Projection. With that being said: also requesting the Space Engineers Bullshittery
Yeah arma is definitely not an easy game to get into. The game itself is very in-depth and for someone not used to pc gaming just the massive amount keys will take some time to get used to, you're basically using every single button on the keyboard. Combine that with mods, mission making etc. it's a lot of steps just to get into the game proper. And if you don't have any experience with milsim, or the military in general, a lot the culture and way of doing this will take some time to get used to. Still once you get going arma can offer an experience like nothing else. But it's also important to know what you want from the game. If you're actually interested in trying it out I highly recommend checking out Rimmy's bad frag podcast.
5:32 that’s what the jet called a warthogs sounds like, 1,million rounds in those couple of seconds....... it’s enough to push the jet backwards if they were doing a “bombing run”. they actually have to point down so the gun pushes them up in the air.
Un, it's a couple of hundred rounds in those seconds, let's not get overexcited. And the thing about the plane being pushed backwards from recoil is an urban legend, based loosely on the idea that it can have issues diving and firing at the old high-rpm setting since combustion products from the muzzle flash can end up being sucked in by the engines.
Hey guys just some constructive criticism, I think the video quality has dropped a bit since the move. I think there maybe a lighting issue and also allot of echo and background noise. Maybe more lights and sounds proof foam around? Still enjoy the vids!

No offense guys, and I'm sure ya'll have heard this a few times. But doing a late episode then going in REVERSE is gonna be a lot more confusing. if someone suggests doing an episode in a series that is like high in number. It would make more sense to start from the first episode and work your way up so things make sense. I know that you two arn't the only reactors to Soviet, or Badger, but it would help you two understand whats going on better if you started from the beginning. :p Still love the reactions to everything!
