Something you may not have noticed is that when you're on the Vietnamese side and die to napalm or a flamethrower, the character has the same voice/sound effect as RS1... only thing is in RS1, it was US vs Japan so I hope the devs fix that in the future (ik I'm nitpicking but it's become a little annoying to me)
You guys should watch LazerPig's videos. Choose what you want, he has ones on the Panther tank, T34, A-10 Thunderbolt II(explaining why they were terrible), a Polish ship called the Piorun, and the Bradley Wars.
RS2 Vietnam is and its predecessor Red Orchestra 2 & RS2 (ww2 pacific) are the most immersive FPS games you can find that don't involve neckbearded gatekeepers. Perfect blend of arcade and simulator I've never found another game that scratches that itch. I'm still sad they are stopping support for Vietnam, luckily community is still fairly active.
We need a reaction to the Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes... it's 54 minutes long, but movie quality. Blur Studios did the redesign, and it's beautiful...
I don't blame pops for not mentioning nam too much. I don't talk about my experiences in Fallujah, Iraq with hardly anyone who wasn't also there, and that was only a month or so of hell. Those guys in nam were in the shit for many months, usually up to a year in the shit and saw on average 240 days of combat a year.
