@@ourvan.ourway A whole LOT more... the projectors cost about £25,000 per day to rent them (there were at least 4 projectors, at least 1 on the main building, plus 1 for each of the pontoons) then you've also got the pontoons, the spotlights, etc... easily at least £150,000+ per day The animation footage to be projected would have to have been filmed, produced, 3D generated... looking at about £200,000+ for that You then have the event, the security, police, river rescue, etc... that's probably around another 100k In all.... I reckon well over 500k and probably closer to £1million For Sela, who are probably the biggest events management company in the world, it would have all been done in-house and would be seen as a marketing excercise to them
I don’t believe so. It was hosted by Sela & last year they done a one-off mini drone light show. This year they had this show & it was unreal. There was thousands & thousands of people there
A very impressive display
It was an amazing display. #sela did an amazing job. They made a lot of geordies (& toon army fans around the world) happy with the show.
Forza Newcastle 👍
Outstanding
This is from sela and Newcastle united owners...to appreciate our fans.
Absolutely fantastic...
You’re 100% correct, it was absolutely fantastic. And so are the fans 🖤🤍
Amazing!!!
It absolutely was. I nearly didn’t go either. But I’m so glad i did
That dig at scumderland, inclusion of women's team and display of sign language just melts my heart
It was an amazing show
Goosebumps.
It was absolutely unreal to watch it
How much would something like that cost to make.
Way more than I’ll ever have in the bank 😂
@@ourvan.ourway was just interested to see if anyone knew.
At a guess I’m gonna say £100k at least, if not way more.
