Hmmmmm, idea!!!! Get a bunch of your subscribers to get the extension, and create a project for all of them to use. It would be fun to watch some people either collaborate or try and destroy a project. This could be a video, or a live stream. I just think that it's a cool concept

This reminds me of the same feature from Gandi Ide (a mod of scratch). Very cool.

I highly reccomend getting the extencion in a local folder to avoid it updating itself, you don't know what can happen to the dev team and if someone goes insane the influenced ones are everyone

Something you need to know is that you are NOT ALLOWED to mention chrome extensions on Scratch due to some privacy issues, and Scratch Team doesn't encourage real time collabs because another user can add inappropriate items into the project.
Yes, I agree. However, I still think Scratchers deserve a easier way to collaborate with each other.
Also by remixing something (the provided form of collaboration), you can still add inappropriate items.
For some reason when my friend tries to add me as a friend it won't let him even though he's typing in my username correctly

It's been working just fine for everybody, and based on my past research, I've haven't heard anything like that.

I know their servers crash occasionally, but I haven't heard of that at all.

Yes this is an AWESOME extension but it isn't the safest. Multiple users have reported their projects getting hacked or wiped by people they didn't even know. Please be careful with this one
