I used the IPA to determine and make an estimated guess on every single sound made. Note that this is not meant to target an educational-seeking audience as I do not guarantee that the interpretations are 100% accurate.
P.S. Apologies for some noticeable rendering glitches.
Suggestions for a video similar to this one perhaps?
Maybe credits ex (also by frums)
@@Elecianconbi777 I will look into that!
Romanized English with IPA characters?
@@liammate Elucidate?
@Betaphaz Different words have sounds that aren't as you would read, for example the word "table", in romanized English would type like "ˈtāb(ə)l". Romanization in different languages would have normal daily English letters, for example the Korean word "안녕하세요", which stands for "hello". If you romanize that word In Korean, it would turn out as "annyeonghaseyo". I would love to see that video!!!
If I had a nickel for every IPA version of Wavetapper I've seen, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that I've seen two. (The other one is called Voweltapper)
@@PersonWhoExists50306 yes I’ve seen it as well! They did a good job on it 👏
3 nickles, add m1in3c4rt
youtube processing did this vid dirty :(
There’s a 4k option if you want :D
@Betaphaz dont worry, i still enjoyed it
This is how music is visualized in my head, i never thought I'd see a video just like it
oh wow thats cool
IPA is so cool, and it's great to see it used for a meme like this.
0:53 "a r p e g g i o"
part goes hard 🗿
a r p e g g i o
@CrackenWag Yeaaaaah haha
Wow this video makes me inexplicably happy.
Only flaw I noticed is the lack of specific numbers for the cellphone dial, which multiple other videos of this song do actually track
I agree, I should've spent more time on the phone dial 😔
holy shit the ipa is insane
dʒ̠e̝ θ ez bä ez 2bä h bɛ bβe bø̞ 2tʂʌn̼
“DO NOT HANG UP” should have also been in IPA
no
tu nɐt̚ hɛŋ ʌp̚
"Dial ######## no connection no connection"
"error error error error error error error error error hang up"
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You have a truly masterful understanding of the IPA, this is incredible!
This is absolutely incredible, only thing that would make it better is if the DTMF dial tones were decoded as well :>
WAIT THIS IS AWSOME BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT THE NUMBERS THE SONG WAS DIALING AHHGGG
(love the work here, really good job and attention to detail)
@@LostLuuv I really should’ve, but I had to rush it for a deadline cus I wouldn’t have access to the project in time 😭
@Betaphaz ahh i see that makes sense
@Betaphazcan you do v2? around 0:16 i also hear Eb so you could add that
Edit: the purple notes here 1:32 are actually C, G, E, and Eb
The visuals are amazing!
holy moly this is insane stuff. keep it up
We speaking alien language with this one 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
past language
past the desire for understanding
PRETTY
🤩
We speaking IPA with this one
BEST Song i ever listen 😊
This is so good!
de a ïz bä ïz bä-ä het be bø btse t"tsan t"tsan
de actual lyric from cyan
hopefully that isnt a curse word in an extinct language
@@nuclearpointprobaly from Ceromuian (fake language) it means potato 2 garlics sprinkle 20 onions mix mix
whyh do i love this
The bass in the bottom left is honestly confusing.
Do you think it's playing {C,G,E,D#} instead of {C,A,Gb,F}?
But I still like how you visualized the different syllables to actual pronunciations.
This is just wild!
@Danimavidz-L13W512 tbh I really just winged it and looked up an online piano to see if I could match those pitches, but I’m no expert sorry
D half flat,A half sharp,F#,F half sharp
@kruje314bro thinks this is microtonal 🃏🃏🃏🃏🃏🃏
Track 2: Cmin(add9) ( Gmin(add9), Emin(add9), Ebmin(add9) )
Track 11: Step Sequencer
Track 12:
12.1: "PastMeaning"
12.2: "PastFeeling"
12.3: "PastLanguage"
12.4: "PastTheDesireForUnderstanding"
Track 14: Another Sub-Bass
Notes: C, G, E, Eb/D#
goes hard
missed opportunity to not use click consonants to transcribe the percussion
@@thezipcreator hm? What’s that?
@Betaphaz wikipedia can explain it better than I can, just go to the article for "click consonant"
@Betaphaz sounds like ʘ and ¡ are clicks (i think they're exclusive to the extended IPA)
MAKE THIS VIDEO POPULAR
Nice video 👍
this is actually so cool???
Nice concept
YOU DIDNT TRANSCRIBE THE "do not hang up" AAAAAAAHUGIFDOJGUILGHJAUEDHWAIO
but he did
@@disorganizeddweller he means I didn’t transcribe it into IPA :D
My hands are shaking rapidly HAGAGAGHG
EGG!!
Omg I have amazing quality
this is a banger
IPATapper
A little sad the phone number sounds weren't recorded as which number is being pressed, especially since the original song included it in the video
my years
OMG this is awesome!! what software did you use??
Believe it or not, I used davinci resolve!
@Betaphaz wthh so you manually sync all of them?
@@antrix2107 yup
AMAZING
Imagine the police cars alarms are like this
yoooooooo this is zick
It's missing the [sweep] sound, the ligth cyan or blue
@MaxricoQuen t’wasn’t a significant audible feature that would be necessary to transcribe into IPA. Ergo I combined it with Arpeggio.
@Betaphaz oh, guess nobody likes that cube.
what are the original audios because this looks like a collab
Where is the the light blue cube's representation?
@@name-equals-theLucidLibrarian it’s the same as the arpeggio.
is this how robots listen to music
You didn't put "do not hang up" in IPA.
gd reference
1:10 ima find which numbers were pressed
@@CEAFA12 Sure! 👍
Is the pink cube just the Reverb I, II and III channels?
How did you crack the Radiolab??? That's so short of a sample!
Can someone please extract these sounds, this would make a banger Incredibox mod
@@ST3LLAR31 you can try to ask frums for their permission first! :D
@ not sure how i can contact them but ok
Assuming you've got a permission, you should be able to get original samples from the BMS release.
where is indigo
can someone please explain the japanese characters
@kruje314 if you look through the comments on the actual music video (in the description), you may be able to find it.
why
What is the dz sound? (Cyan one)
j
@kruje314 That's /ʤ/.
Now do Phonetic.
