I have no idea why, but every time I wear any dry shampoo, my hair feels greasy and stringy after a few hours. This then leads me to reapply and after a while I feel like the powder is clogging my scalp up. But after watching your review, I went out and bought the Pantene dry shampoo. It is now my favourite dry shampoo! Thank you for the suggestion. :)
Use a hair clarifying shampoo and switch to a lighter conditioner. Then after removing excess oils etc using clarifying shampoo. Next time washing use a shampoo that is weightless and not heavy. Probably be fixed.
LMAO!! When you were about to talk about "the original" dry shampoo I was like oh no girl you are too young to know about Psssst from the 70s. Then you held up Psssst! LMAO!! I had NO idea that they still made it!! In the 70s my mom used it on me after I had surgery. It was literally like spraying powder on your hair and scalp back then. I havent used it since but it sounds vastly improved
I can’t use that product without singing the 70s commercial jingle! Then it’s stuck in my head all day “Pssssssst! Oh yeah that’s what you get, when you can’t shampoo wet, it’s Psssst you brush it on, it’s the instant shampoo...🎶” lol
I was actually wondering if the Tresemme dry shampoo would be the worst one. I have it and I hate waste so I haven't thrown it out yet but it's THE WORST dry shampoo ever! I'm not a big fan of the Pssst! one either but at least it's not Tresemme. LOVE Batiste though! (However, you can't get the store brand comparable to Batiste because the one I got was not the same ingredients and just didn't work as well.)
Literally the tresemme dry shampoo is the worst thing to have ever touched my hair and it was the first dry shampoo I ever tried so I was completely turned off for like years but now I’m back on will try Pantene next ! Currently using dove and batiste :)
The pantene one is great, especially if you have darker hair because it's invisible. I love it! Since I have all these dry shampoos, I'm trying to use them all up and my Pantene one is reserved for special occasions haha 😘
Thank you for your honest reviews. I'm actually looking for my pre-teen daughter. In your opinion, do you think that dry shampoo is good for her age? She just doesn't like showers as often as I would prefer her taking. I feel 3-4 days is just too long. I'm trying to teach her the importance of taking care of self and how we do things. She is one who has disabilities so I don't think I'm getting through to her as I think I should be. Any suggestions for that at all? You are adorable by the way. New subscriber. Can't wait to show your videos to her.
I'm sorry for the late reply! I just want to say that you sound like an amazing mom. I know it's not an easy job, especially when your child requires a little extra time. The fact that you're spending time researching this is really sweet! ❤️ As far as dry shampoo, I totally agree with you sometimes people use it when they should really be showering instead. But I don't think that using it alongside regular shampoo is unhygienic. I wash my hair every other day, and in between use dry shampoo. I know others who can go a little longer than that. It all depends on how greasy the hair gets/what they feel comfortable with. That's a tough one! I think maybe figuring out why she doesn't like showering or maybe finding ways to make it more enjoyable would do the trick. Getting special products with scents in them, or if it's an option, taking a bath with a bath bomb? What's her name? Sending her hugs and kisses! 😘
Just my 2 cents worth... I would personally recommend/advise using ‘unscented’ versions of just about any product, when possible/available. I myself wear fairly expensive fragrances/colognes, so every product I personally use/purchase is unscented (including laundry detergents). Too many different scents/fragrances from so many different products (shampoos, body wash, hair styling products, deodorants, laundry detergents/fabric softer sheets, lotions, etc.) can become very offensive and/or annoying to those around you... too many conflicting scents/fragrances.... just say’n. 🤔
I think I am going to love the Batist dry shampoo. Just send my spouse to go buy it for me at Target😁❤ only reason I think I am going to love it is because you said it was very powdery white. I am platinum blonde so thats not bad for me, I feel like its going to enhance my white platnium hair. So thats awesome can not wait to try. I usually use the tresseme dry shampoo but wanted to try another dry shampoo.
you scent descriptions were actually really helpful and bang on
Yay! I’m really happy to hear that! I always struggle with that part of the review haha 😘

Old lady scent? Hey now, I'm a mature woman and love modern scents :)
Women are like fine wine, they only get better with age! ❤️

When you said old lady scent I knew immediately what you meant 😂 love your vids!
Haha right?! We all know that smell! 👵 p.s. thank you!
I wish you would hold up the product so people can write it down and to get a good look at.

I have the Suave with the yellow cap and think it smells really good too! I think it's like a lemon lime scent and smells like Sprite.
I never put two and two together, but you are so right, it does remind me of Sprite! I love it. 💕
I will try the Pantene next. I currently have the Herbal Essences right now. It's ok.

have you bought the Pantene ?

I found that the dove smelled disgusting when it was mixed with my dirty hair.
I agree with you! 😘 It's such a shame, I never thought a Dove product wouldn't smell good. 🙊
Yes the Dove one has such a strong smell! I will try Pantene next ☺
Pantene is my go-to dry shampoo at the moment, I really hope you will enjoy it! 💕
Try the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo (the loose powder). It's a bit more expensive but so good. And it smells good too:)
I'll put it on my "to-try" list, thanks for the recommendation! :)
Take a shot every time she says “dry shamPUU”
Love how organize you are!
Does dry shampoo cause hair loss? There are many claims out there that it does....
Just my 2 cents worth...

That's a great tip! 😊
I don't like when they smell perfumey
The batiste Devine and dark, smells horrible. Trying out your mother's and herbal essences
How about stop wasting money on schampoo?
I hate the dove dry shampoo. It's terrible!
Do you have a favorite dry shampoo? Always up for trying new products! 😘
