I think a dumber strategy would be to dash storage into a slide and stay invincible during your slide while only using the revolvers to pick anything off from a distance.
Interesting fact: The tech wasn't invented in Fortnite, it was actually invented in a game called Gunz: The Duel. Where people who used to play Gunz figured out that the same tech worked in Fortnite. There's a really good video about that game (which is where I pulled this information), called "This game could've been the best eSport ever".
You can projectile boost (also know as shotgun parrying) while shotgun swapping. It's hard and sometimes inconsistent but it is very fun. Most of you probably already know that.
@@Pengun77 of course I just called it that because that's what many people know it as, for a while I thought it was shotgun parrying but no it's pro boosting.
tip for minos, stay on the ground (only jump if necessary). it makes the fight way easier. if he hits you with his uppercut attack thingy, just slam back down as quickly as you can
For anyone who doesn't know, this is commonly reffered to as Shotgun Swapping from the community, and you can also projectile boost but then there is a freeze frame so its not really a double pump.
Funny you should mention WoF, I'm currently playing modded terraria; Calamity mod. It has a weapon that is literally almost marksman revolver from Ultrakill
6:39 I honestly experience this too. After P-ranking Minos Prime (I refuse to use P-inos) I now struggle with gabe in both forms. Also V2 greed will always kick my ass and I can’t do anything about it
Few things to note 1. Shotguns can parry 2. The Levaiathan's weak spot is on the top. According to the enemies page, thats its heart 3. YOU FORGOT THE SWORDSMACHINE IM ANGY >:(
I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds Gabe 1 harder than Gabe 2, that downward is just pain in the 2nd phase, and the projectiles are way harder to parry than Gabe 2's sword-copter Edit: god, the sword-copter is just so nice
If you use one shotgun variant and press q to switch to your previous weapon it lets you reswap to you shotgun so you get the same effect of have two shotguns but you keep to 1.5x freshness multiplier permanently
This is basic ultrakill tech tho, it's funny you're just finding out. Used to be there for the slab too but since that covers both long and short distance it was patched. Shotguns can only cover short distance so you at least have to use movement if you're gonna spam it. But jeez, you're just finding out? Now?
Reminds me of GunZ Online, where people would repeatedly cycle between shotguns to speed up their firing; and using the reload button to do an animation skip.
nothings wrong with it being good, you at least have to interact with the enemy unlike railcoining and such i think any method is fine and nothing has really been cheese to the point of making things unfun
yeah this strategy is pretty simple but new players dont have good aim to perform this well, so i think you kinda overestimate effiency of this strategy
btw, Gabe being hard is relatable as hell. like, if someone asked me, I could P-rank P-1 rn with no issues whatsoever, but when it comes to Gabriel... idk, it'd take me at least a few tries
The problem is that Ultrakill is not a game about doing as much damage as possible or something, it's about being as *S* *T* *Y* *L* *I* *S* *H* as possible, and doing nothing but shotgun swapping simply isn't stylish. In the brave words of Gabriel, "You need to rank up your fucking style points, [V1]! Try switching weapons from time to time! It's disgusting the way you play!"
Hakita could implement a damage fall off over time: The Longer you use shotgun swapping, the lower the damage output becomes and you have to wait a timer before your damage returns to normal. Edit: Shut up everyone I get it
@@ComputerPersonAlexStrawberri Not really it's just kinda a decently powerful combo, with how little style it gives using only it is only good for surviving the level which is kinda the easy part usually anyway.

isn't this just, y'know, shotgun swapping? a pretty important part of the arsenal?

You can projectile boost (also know as shotgun parrying) while shotgun swapping. It's hard and sometimes inconsistent but it is very fun. Most of you probably already know that.
But you can only do three in a row before your arm goes on cooldown
@@05council73 really? Huh that makes everything make more sense. I did not know that.
Im can do like that only 2-3 times(yeah im have skill issues in ultrakill)

if you unequip all your other weapons the stale weapons meter will stop at 1x
how to maintain style with 2 weapons with 2 easy steps
1) unequip all but the weapons you will use
2) profit

Just a quick tip for the leviathan fight: on top of his head, there's a red spot you can hit. That's the leviathan's weak point
Funny you should mention WoF, I'm currently playing modded terraria; Calamity mod. It has a weapon that is literally almost marksman revolver from Ultrakill
for gabriel, you can just stand still at the entrance of the bossfight and spam the shotgun, it is a surprisingly reliable strategy.

If you combine shotgun quick switching with the knuckle blaster the dps gets very high, especially considering the shotgun can parry at close range.
