I have the 14.5. with the Athlon helos 2-12 btr, geissele SSP Flat trigger and geissele bcg. got it dialed in. let my buddy shoot it who had never shot passed 100 m before. I gave him the hold and he was hitting an IPSC size steel target at 700 m consistently shot after shot after shot. using 69g AAC OTM. he went 20 for 30. pretty calm light wind at dusk

I have to say that my criterion barrels are my favorite but I have some Rosco ones that are good too, You don’t need to spend over $350 for a performance barrel in my opinion. I agree with other comments on here as well, great video!

Thanks for doing a video on this product. This is a very expensive barrel and I want to see if it's really worth it.
Didn’t see a crown on the X2 Dev Group barrel of any sort.. It just looked like there was a sharp 90° angle where the rifling ends at the face of the muzzle. Crowning a barrel is not a difficult task to complete on your own, but for that price point it should definitely already have an adequate crown on the barrel.

Check VKTR barrels for something that is comparable (solely based on the advertised specs at least) for less than half the price.

Nice looking barrel and I'm sure it will perform very well. X2 obviously takes pride in their work. I'm definitely not their target demographic however; it's far too pricey for me.

I tried a box of sig ammo for my savage 6.5. It did not like them. 7 of the 20 rounds needed a second strike to fire. Not a good thing on a hunting trip. My rifle fired other brands of ammo just fine.

My Rosco Purebred 13.7 is more than accurate enough for most shooters and myself. The price point is great and it’s a very accurate barrel.
This barrel is nice, but way too expensive for a barrel imo.

I am curious about the dimensions of the barrel. OD from the barrel extension to the gas block. How many flutes in that portion. How deep is fluting down from the OD. The GB is .75" So, How deep are the flutes from the gas block to the muzzle? How many flutes in that portion too. Thanks
