There were some comments here that criticized the inclusion of Renee's root canal. I think it's so informative to know what it's like to live on a boat and how health matters are managed in other countries. I hope that Renee does not remove stuff like this because it is so informative!!!
Agreed! It’s better to have those information in order to better understand the costs and procedures in other countries! The Q & A sessions are great!! Keep up the good work. Love from Malaysia!!❤️
Agree on that. However, root canals are not recommended. There is science behind the claim, that root canals really just encapsulates bacteria a death tissue around and then death root of a tooth, which is not great. That could leak and for instance cause inflammation in other parts of the body, causing really serious health issues down the line. Mercola has warned against it in the past in many articles and recommend a full pull of the tooth instead.
I think it's very important and informative to include things like Healthcare because it's part of life and things happen, accidents happen and people need to know what they can expect in those situations. Keep giving us as much information as possible! Reality is that **** happens!
Jack looks like he gives the absolute best hugs, they seem so genuine and caring. You are all great though, love the videos, and will miss watching this unique experience you gave these young adults!
Kate running after the car at the end says it all! This was so good for her. She literally transformed from a reserved young girl to a much more outgoing and expressive young woman in one month.
@@NibsNiven you havent been watching closely enough.....i remember when i first noticed something was off because there was this sudden lack of footage of her..............she was/is young growing up on a boat without the regular social lives many of us grew up in
I'd be interested to see videos from each of the kids - perhaps linking from Zatara, on how it was like to return home, their families, and now given a little time, how will this experience impact the rest of their lives. Thanks for another great Z video.
Watching this hit hard. I turned 22 (now 28) on my parents' catamaran "SV Pogeyan". You met them in Tonga and they sent me the shirt you gave them. I still wear it. That was the greatest time of my life. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything, and I was the only young adult on the boat! I'm working now so I can afford my own boat someday. Your videos help keep the dream alive.
The one boy that left early from the boat leaves me wondering what he was thinking even going on the boat in the first place. I could see if he was sick and had to go home but other than that he should have stuck it out and stayed . They all got a couple of years of learning in one month of time by traveling on a yacht to various places . You people sure did pack a great deal of fun into that trip for them .
After hearing these kids talk today, I think he left because of the deep talk and differing opinions. Ethan said be prepared to stand behind what you believe and prepare to know why. Keith is a red blooded American patriot, imagine being on the opposing side and being asked why you believe what you do by him ? so to a kid who just believes what he is told and doesn’t have anything to back it up …..Keith is a very smart man…..just sayin’ Just my humble opinion 🤷🏼♀️
I have watched most of the sailing channels for a while now and I have found Z Crew to be one of the best overall. Lots of useful sailing information, locations and technical info. Great channel!!
Awww some “very close” friendships formed there. Don’t lose that and for those who remain closely connected, bring them back:) that would be awesome! Mum and dad, your level of authenticity is the difference between your channel any most others.
Man that sucks those were some good kids! Loved watching them interact with the Zatara crew. They fit in so well. Can't wait for the next batch of newbies. 🤙
Kudos to the Whitaker family for doing this. This not only introduces people to sailing but to a more independent life. How to figure out and solve problems on your own. Not to be so dependent on what most landlubbers are so dependent on everyday. I think that’s what I love about the sailing lifestyle and I think each of these young adults have learned lessons that they will carry with them back home that will change how they view everyday obstacles. Thanks guys.
Adaptability is a must for world travelers. These young folks will remember this experience in far more detail than the Whitakers, carrying this experience with them for a lifetime. Well done. Thanks for sharing your space as well as your vids!
The saddest line i’ve heard from the guy in a blue jacket is “ holy crap, i’ve stepped out the boat so many times, this is the last time”...a sad and sweet words from him...stay safe kids in going home...ingat...
It's hard when you get to know good people and make close friends, then they have to leave thats the hard part but you make great memories with them, you did a wonderful thing Zatara family letting them expirience something new. Bless your hearts they will never forget this time with your family.
I love this!! The Z crew doesn’t realize how much they impact those of us that watch each week! Having a new crew was a new experience for all of us, even those who only watch the episodes. Thank you Keith and family for sharing your experiences and memories with us. I’ll never forget the day I was laying down for the night and my phone rang with a FaceTime from Keith and crew and I got to talk to you all! Keep touching and changing peoples lives like this and making dreams a reality 😊
@@davewilson8308 I agree. Bella made it quite clear that she wants back onboard, and I'm thinking those other two would also given the opportunity again. That they already know each other and how the Z Team operates just an added bonus.
Man, I have a love hate relationship with this one !!! It makes me so happy and so sad 😏 I think all these kids, Z kids also, gained 10 years of maturity, what a fabulous experience and opportunity for them !!! And it says A LOT of Keith and Renee, because pleasing a boat load of teens and having them come together took some gentle but firm mentoring….well done !!! I’m sitting her crying but can’t wait for the reunion…..and their will be a reunion ❤️ Blessings to each and every one of you !!! Happy 20th Jack !!! You are looking so handsome these days with your hair a normal cut and clean shaven !
Couldn't agree more. I've been watching since the beginning and while I agree that Renee and Keith are providing their kids with an invaluable experience it comes with a cost too. Kate was this bubbly, outgoing little girl when they started who absolutely adored making friends when they were in port long enough for her to do so. She was clearly very gregarious, so outgoing and look how much that has changed in the last 3 years! Especially with the older sister Anna gone, she's now just got two brothers and she just looks so much more withdrawn and quiet to me. It was really great to see how she came out of her shell with the girls around and my heart just aches for her to lose these newfound friends and be back you know to just Mom, Dad and the boys. Kids need social stimulation when they're growing up and again while I acknowledge that these kids are receiving an invaluable experience being on the boat, they're also losing out on a lot of really important things that are part of their teen years, you know being social with other kids, learning how to interact with other kids but mostly the friendships and the nurturing that comes from those friendships...that's really invaluable as a teen is growing up.
It’s ok, she’ll make friends in collage in a year or so. with that bubbly and too friendly personality as a preteen you can easily mess up your life. Keith and Rene never doubt yourself as parents. You and only you know your kid. You were the ones who changed their diapers 10 times a day for their first years, soothed them to sleep, stayed up with them who knows how many nights. I only wish one day I can be as good parents as you two are.❤
@@ariag.8745 I feel like any type of parenting and life style has has a cost, good and bad, positive and negative. We are imperfect people and parenting is a big practice playing field that we don’t get to redo. I was listening to a video yesterday by Curtis stone, he had his wife on for the first time and they were discussing raising their kids and homeschooling/unschooling, meaning no curriculum, child led learning. He was an urban farmer but they have moved to a mountain top and live off grid so this video was quite different. Anyhow they made some reference to books about teaching kids and one thing they learned about was “peer attachment”, it was quit interesting. It’s about keeping your kids physically and emotionally close, as a family. I want to learn more about it but it makes sense, think of why kids join gangs, why are girls giving up their bodies before marriage, why do kids resent parents ? It’s because they didn’t spend enough time with parents and get attached to others. Kate is a beautiful girl, she has a wonderful upbringing, the close time she has with her family may very well be what saves her from a world that wants to use her (and we don’t want to see Keith go to prison, hehe) ! Of course she may feel blue or lonely at times, what teenager doesn’t ? But the parents put a lot of effort into raising these kids and make sure they have opportunities. Seems they have more than a lot of land locked kids….travel the world, water sports, guitar playing, skateboarding, sailing, navigation….. Kate will be fine, she is learning life in a positive atmosphere and she will adjust fine if she decides to go live on land someday. Oh and if she wasn’t able to adjust socially she wouldn’t have fit in with this group of kids coming onboard. All these kids are blessed by this life !
Keith and Renee - I used to be a high school teacher for 17 years (fellow Texan here!) and I just want to say how wonderful your kids are. Each one of them has clearly been encouraged to develop into who they really are at their core. It feels rare these days for parents to nurture/allow individuality rather than imposing their own dreams - or the traits the “world” values - upon their own kids (at least in my experience). For example, I just loved the way Kate lit up talking about the deep conversations everyone had over the course of the month. You could tell that was something she values (me too!) and I loved hearing her verbalize how important that felt. Anyway, I just wanted to pass my compliments along to you since I’m sure you have days where you question your own parenting, etc. You shouldn’t! The Whitaker kids are lovely. 🥰 Unrelated: I am extremely sorry for all the people commenting on the possibility of romances etc. That’s really nobody’s business except the people involved, and I’m afraid that as “viewers,” we seem to forget the people on the screen are HUMAN BEINGS with actual lives! 🤦♀ I’m so embarrassed whenever I see those comments… grown-ass adults should know better than to “gossip” about something good and healthy and NORMAL! (Especially in the comments, good grief. 🙄) Anyway, I’m wishing you continued safe travels… thanks for sharing your lives with us!
OMG, another great episode! I have no words. You have not only changed a few kids lives forever but many of us watching have learned so much from watching you all. I just lost my granddaughter at 15 and seeing how well Kate is handling life with these kids and teaching them lessons makes me think of my granddaughter. Jack and Finn, what wonderful and talented boys! Happy Birthday Jack! I hope you never leave the boat but I’m sure someday you will want to. Mom and dad! You have done wonderful things here! I’m 58 and I wish I could have spent this much time with my kids! Thank you!
All great kids and wonderful to see them bond. It’s a unique and promising time to be a young adult. Ethan’s communications skills, sense of humor, and self awareness are impressively well developed for his age. He’s positioned to go far. They all will.
I agree 100% with your comments. It is obvious that Ethan is going to become very successful in whatever he desires. It makes me feel confident of our future generation when I see young people like him. It’s a shame that the media tends to show more bad in our youth then showing more Ethan’s.
I had a crack underneath a crown and it turned into an abscess! The WORST PAIN! And I’m an airbrush makeup artist & worked thru it! Ugh I can totally understand how u feen Rene !
Honestly, I'm really sad this specific adventure has come to an end. Love this channel, as you bring so much to us - so much to experience through your lens, Renee. Choked up at the end, too. Well done Sailing Zatara & Crew!
Been watching the Z crew for several years now & the previous 4-5 weeks has been a blast. I would love to see another experiment such as this one performed again someday. You've changed those kid's lives for sure! Well done mates.....!!
This is the first episode that I waited for, after binging from the very beginning over several weeks. Now, I have to wait for Thursdays like everybody else! 😂 I'm too old and not in good enough health to go on an adventure like this, but I so appreciate the high quality of the Z-crew's channel. Sometimes I really feel like I'm there. Renee, you're a terrific storyteller. You bring light and joy into my life, and I appreciate it enormously.
When you said someone was in the dentist screaming and crying, I immediately thought of the scene in Finding Nemo when they were screaming in the dentist office and everyone was watching in fear. You gave me a good laugh. But seriously I am terrified of the dentist too.
I was in the DR on our old boat, (lagoon 450s). when I got my hand stuck in the wheel and got leveled when I put it in reverse. almost broke my arm. But the hospital experience was fast, cheap, and safe

Hope your tooth gets better Renee. From my professional experience it sounds like there may be a fracture in the root. If this is the case then the tooth will ultimately need to be extracted. Fingers crossed that this is not the case though.
Hey Jason! Unfortunately I’ve had a bit of trouble with this dang tooth since we saw that dentist a couple of weeks ago. Just today a big chunk of the tooth actually fell off into my mouth.!!! 😳 🤢 Saturday is the holy day here in Israel (and yes, unfortunately we are in Israel now, not in Jordan anymore) so Sunday morning, I will go to a new dentist and see what he says. 🤷🏼♀️ ~Renee💕
@@SailingZatara Ah ok yeah unfortunately it sounds like it may need need to be extracted. Also, if there is not a fracture in the root, soon after a root canal is completed a permanent core build up, possible post and then crown needs be completed. If the tooth needs to be extracted and if it’s in between two teeth then you could have either a flipper/partial or and implant. I’ve worked with both durning my career and I’ve seen much better results with implants if they are done correctly. You could always start with a partial/flipper and look into getting an implant down the road.
Congratulations to Jack for his 20th Birthday. And to all of that young people have a good remembrance about this great weeks on the boat with the Whitaker family.
I’m Italian and I’m currently on my last year of school. Every single day i ask myself the same question : what do you want to do after school? After that i start feeling the pressure of life , or at least the pressure that society has created on us .. because you have to be fast and decide quickly , they say . I always hear people saying “world is not waiting for you ,so if you don’t decide now who you want to become , you’ll be finished “ . After watching your videos I realised that I don’t want to live a monotonous life , following the pre marked road and ending up like an unhappy person . Yes, i don’t know yet what I actually want to do (professionally) , but i know that i want to see the world and enjoy of every single little gift that life gives to us . Thank you for sharing your life whit us , is very inspiring !!! :)
Thoroughly enjoyed Kates secret hand signals... in this video and the last one. Kate , your face rules the waves. Zatara crew is an inspiration this world desperately needs
So sad to see Bella, Maura and Ethan go, really glad they stuck it out for the month, this has been a life altering experience for them, something to reflect on forever. And for the Whitakers good on ya 👍, looks like Kate, Finn and Jack had an excellent time with the new Mills on board.
Parting is always sad for kids, but it's like summer camp or changing schools. They'll get over it, and will have grown so much from the experience. Thanks for another great video! Can't wait to see you tour Israel!
Hey guys the last month of videos have been awesome the new members of the Z crew were all fabulous great kids thank you Keith and Renee for allowing them to come aboard and make lifelong friends and memories God-bless you guys and safe sailing
Renee, when these young people first came on the boat, I didn't think it was going to be a good time. However, in watching the episodes with them, I think the Z-Crew and you and Keith did a great job with them. I hope that you'll be able to do it again at some point in the future and that people will be just as fun for the next go around. You did a good thing.
Aah, touching. Kate her voice changed so much. Another group of people forever hooked to adventure. And yes Renée, a root canal doesn't have to cost 2000 USD. We also pay 70 USD. Hope to see you guys in the med.
I love you guys. Good wake boarding Keith. Ending made me want to cry. Goodbyes are so hard. Love you all , God bless every moment of each of your lives.
I have been following you guys since you where on a monohull always great content. I have to say I really enjoyed this series with the kids it was interesting and fun to watch you guys should make it a regular thing all the best from Alberta Canada
I love the fact that you invited these young people from differant countries to join you for a month. This allows your kids to experience all the social aspects of others of their age group.
A lovely idea to have these adventurers join you for a month. I hope you all stay in touch. I would love to see a follow up with each of the guests two or three months from now and see if there is still any residual impact on their life plans. I know the young ladies had a very positive impact on Kate. She seemed much more comfortable and I could swear, I think she actually wore make up ! Now that Jack is 20, when is he going to start his own adventure? School? Charter Captain course? Really looking forward to see Anna back on the boat for a visit and a life update. Still miss her on the vlogs.
Always better to pull the tooth. Watch The Root Cause..how bacteria can never be completely eradicated. Very eye opening, I was faced with this decision too a few times!
Sounds like everyone had a good time. It's great that you can give a few kids a memory of a lifetime and likely make lifelong friends. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Your experience with health care in other countries is exactly why I decided against going into medicine here in the US. While prepping for med school years ago I started doing research on malpractice insurance and shocking would be the best way to describe it. I was looking at roughly 1/3 of my income going to that even if I was perfect as a doctor because patients sue and it’s cheaper to pay then go to court. The litigious nature of the US culture is so bad that we bad magnitudes more for health care for really no reason and many people, who would have made great medical professionals, simply choose other professions.
It does not supprise me at all that non-water people would sign up. Most boat people I know are not water people. When I take people out an stop an ask if someone wants to swim, very few do. I am not really a water person either. I love being on the boat. But I only swim for exercise or just to cool off. I don't enjoy swimming. I enjoy boating. Being out on the water, in nature, fishing or just seeing whats around the next bend. Someone can also love boating, doing inland boating. But go blue water sailing an find out they hate that. Countless numbers of people boat around the great loop in the US every year, that want nothing to do with going off shore. People also sometims have a need to do things they fear. Mororcycles make me nervous, but I ride them. I have to talk myself on to the bike, then after about a mile I am fine. An I love it. Every few years that fear goes away, the fun goes away with it an I start doing stupid things on it because of lack of fear and fun so I park it for a while. I have talked to lots of others that also ride an have the same mindset. I also started doing youtube because I was not a fan of socializing. Serous introvert. I have several channels now. I have a gaming channel that no one watches, but I started it to force myself to learn to talk more. Within a year I could talk to the camera for an hour straight without an issue. It took a lot of taking myself in to making videos to get there though. And countless "er" and "um"s.
I am is like a cat in water, but love boat life. Absolutely. Anyway, when you are a kid (teenager), there is really only one way to find out, if something is your thing, and that is test and maybe fail. What a great team of teenagers, by the way. I am sure, that this bunch will be friends for life.
I didn't really think much of this before this video, but I think this was the best thing you guys did for your kids(speaking parental wise/boat owners). I remember you saying many months ago you wish your kids experienced what others did in normal life in some ways. I think this may have somewhat fulfilled that gap(it will never be fully), but they get to learn from others, and from different countries too! The communication they have done and on both sides(Z crew and newly honored Z crew members), has given a learning experience that is better than any teacher or book can do. I think it has proven that your kids have a once in a life time experience that almost no one will ever get. But these come with sacrifices, so does an average experience(mostly boring, sometimes not). Always everyone wants better, the only difference is those that push to actually make their life better for themselves. Good work on taking the leap in this one for the whole Z crew and trying it. Sounds like you will at least keep a couple on board when things make sense to mix things up. Looking forward to seeing YOU out there on the Water!
What a fantastic people you all are! I have really enjoyed watching all the video’s on UA-cam en TikTok and seeing the pictures on instagram!! Well done Withaker Family!! Hope to see you guys do it again!
Just fantastic. I think your guests loved just about every minute, and I certainly loved seeing the experience through their eyes..And those goodbyes, strewth, someone's chopping onions...xx😅😅
I know that writing a diary is a thing of the past but today making a video is a diary of your sailing around the world. What would I like to know is did y'all ever cross the dangerous Atlantic Ocean? If so, what video might that be? Thanx! Really enjoyed your seafaring adventures!!
Just started subscribing recently, binged watched today (it was suppose to be raining) and think this was such a great idea for your family to have guest teenagers on Zatara. I think I've seen about a dozen of your ep's so far. And thanks to your Son, Finn, for popping up a few days ago (so I watched a few of his vlogs). I've seen a few others living on their boats via YT but you guys got me more interested for lots of reasons. Thankfully I grew up with a Dad that always had boats (biggest was a mid '60's Owens Cabin Cruiser just under 30') so I loved being out on the water, fishing, and swimming in the summers. But to be on the open seas and be sailing around so many countries is just amazing. It can be stressful but the Captain sure knows what he's doing on this yacht! The Crew is not so bad either!
What a great thing the Z-crew did for these kids. Perhaps maybe next time, you should do it some place that you’re familiar with. This way it’s more about the sailing and activities rather than the “unknown”, such as this was. Great job guys. Happy Holidays!
I am one that stands CORRECTED from my original thoughts on this idea… After seeing the end and the 3 people’s lives were truly affected in a good way is priceless⛵️🧡
I've lived in Asia for 15 years and plan to retire here in 2 years. The health care is far better than in the US. The US has great technology, but it is all so expensive, and the insurance companies have a lock on the system. Here, I only need catastrophic coverage because going to a doctor, dentist, etc. is super cheap as a walk in patient. I did an MRI, X-rays, 2 consultations, and a rehab session on my knee after a bad judo throw, and the whole out of pocket cost was about $75 with Japanese national healthcare. I don't have national healthcare now, but a 4 day hospital stay after I got pneumonia cave diving in Thailand (I was allergic to Doxycycline, which is military protocol when going in the jungles,) including doctors/nurses around the clock, biopsy, x-rays, meals, private room, and medicine, cost $2,800 in total; my international healthcare policy covered most of it. The nurse who handed me the bill kept apologizing because she felt the cost was so high.
That was a months worth of watching that hit all the right nerves. Fantastic experience given and shared with 5 green horns. It was a shame that the first lad could not get past his homesickness as I'm sure it would of been a epic learning experience for him but it is what it is. Thank you Zcrew👏👏👏
It's so nice to see that you took those green horns and showed them what it's like to live your style of live... But also! It's great that your kids were so welcoming to these new people. I really tip my hat to the both of you! I remember my uncle took me for 2 weeks sailing the north channel in Canada it was such an amazing experience even though it was on a 26 foot boat, And it's so true, deep conversations and keeping a open and positive attitude even when being annoyed or frustrated at each other really separates the people that can handle such an adventure! PLEASE SAIL THE NORTH CHANNEL! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Great episode. Actually they are all good, but it was great that you guys brought on these young folks to bond and learn more about the world. I enjoy your videos even while I'm freezing in MT right now.
My dentist does root canels in the office and charges me a couple hundred bucks. I been going to him for over 45 yrs. I know I am Old. Enjoy your channel, look forward to Thursday.
Having had a double root canal that eventually went wrong over the following years after ie: a WHOLE bunch of health issues with no explanation, then FINALLY realising how dodgey root canals are for your health-I went and got those two offending molars taken out (which came along with a suprise emotional release); I’m now realising that getting that tooths taken out was 99% the best solution in the first place… I found your dentist footage brought back the trauma of the dentist office… AND I never found dentist work disturbing before… Just goes to show, how we store trauma memories in our bodies, even when we thought “I’m over that experience “
i have watched earlier episodes of Sailing Zatara and thought same ol same ol. This episode drew me back in, what a wonderfull thing you did for those young people, they will never forget it, wish it happened to me, too late though, im 74 years old, keep it up.
Fantastic series, I can speak for everyone that we all enjoyed this. We hop you guys keep in touch with the remaining three because of how kind and amazing they did on the boat. Enjoy the safe travels back for the people flying home.
So great to see a real family (True Americans)on UA-cam. God bless you all and my the younger generation learn from your family!!! This is how you are supposed to live and interact with each other!
Was that a lingering hug between Jack and Maura?! I hope there was some romance on the boat - life is too short not to have cuddles! Thanks Z crew. The next adventure awaits...
Can't get much more romantic than a kiss on the deck of a gently-moving sailboat under the stars with the moon reflecting over the water--did it happen? I guess we'll never know.

So true. If the Z-crew makes it to Montana, maybe the others can meet up in the Mountains for some further time together. I surely hope so!
Wow I'm 49 and I wish I was 18 again on that adventure. Love Zatara Family...
Maybe next time they'll invite adults or a family
@Walter Corbin Jr yes imagine a poor family from land locked area never touch ocean or seen such beauty... would be amazing.
Well done Z crew! Please do this again!
Wow. What a crew. Hate to see them leave. Ethan and the girls were fantastic. Love the Z crew, and having the teens on board was just icing 💕
Awww some “very close” friendships formed there. Don’t lose that and for those who remain closely connected, bring them back:) that would be awesome!
Mum and dad, your level of authenticity is the difference between your channel any most others.
Yeah, I think one friendship, between one of the boys and one of the girls, was a little closer than the rest. 😂
@@BreakerOneNine07 FACTS!
Man that sucks those were some good kids! Loved watching them interact with the Zatara crew. They fit in so well. Can't wait for the next batch of newbies. 🤙
Always had the idea Maura and Jack liked each other. The way they hugged... So cute
Maura is a very nice girl he’s lucky👍
Didn’t he date this one girl called Lilly like 3 years back
Are they still dating?
Yep, I could tell they were becoming a little more close, than the rest of the connections.
Bella and Finn were definitely kissing at the end!
@@Puuring definitely
“Adaptability.” That’s exactly right!
Totally agree. We live overseas also. We call it "global agility". Great job, Zatara, giving young people a taste of adventure.
My favorite was Ethan! His joy, excitement, truthfulness and desire to learn was pretty awesome! Wishing him well as he decides his future life.
Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️
I love this!!
Well said!
Definitely! I so enjoyed watching how they all gelled so well together, I hope they do this again and the first group come back for another stay.
Agreed whole-heartedly.
@@davewilson8308 I agree. Bella made it quite clear that she wants back onboard, and I'm thinking those other two would also given the opportunity again. That they already know each other and how the Z Team operates just an added bonus.
Man, I have a love hate relationship with this one !!! It makes me so happy and so sad 😏
I think all these kids, Z kids also, gained 10 years of maturity, what a fabulous experience and opportunity for them !!!
And it says A LOT of Keith and Renee, because pleasing a boat load of teens and having them come together took some gentle but firm mentoring….well done !!!
I’m sitting her crying but can’t wait for the reunion…..and their will be a reunion ❤️
Blessings to each and every one of you !!!
It’s because they didn’t spend enough time with parents and get
attached to others.
Thank you!
Bravo - I couldn’t have said it any better!
So sad it’s over! I hope Ethan, Bella and Maura go ⛵️ with you all again next year! Loved these vlogs!
The fial goodbye brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for another wonderful insight into the Sailing Zatara family.
The three who made it the whole month were the best!! They blended well with y’all. Bring em back please.
I really hope you do this again with some more people coming on the boat. Thank you so much for your entertaining show.
When you said someone was in the dentist screaming and crying, I immediately thought of the scene in Finding Nemo when they were screaming in the dentist office and everyone was watching in fear. You gave me a good laugh. But seriously I am terrified of the dentist too.
Keith and the Zatara family... your hospitality is amazing... to welcome people onto your boat speaks volumes.. Ups to you all🥰🥰🥰
I was in the DR on our old boat, (lagoon 450s). when I got my hand stuck in the wheel and got leveled when I put it in reverse. almost broke my arm. But the hospital experience was fast, cheap, and safe
Keith, Rene’, and family are so real and open in these videos, it’s makes me feel like they are only talking to me.

~Renee💕
@@SailingZatara Ah ok yeah unfortunately it sounds like it may need need to be extracted. Also, if there is not a fracture in the root, soon after a root canal is completed a permanent core build up, possible post and then crown needs be completed. If the tooth needs to be extracted and if it’s in between two teeth then you could have either a flipper/partial or and implant. I’ve worked with both durning my career and I’ve seen much better results with implants if they are done correctly. You could always start with a partial/flipper and look into getting an implant down the road.
The next morning must have felt really weird. So quiet. But I'll bet it was a terrific experience for everyone involved. Thanks for sharing Z crew.
Was sad seeing those kids leave the boat, I know that it had a very postive effect on them all. And Happy Birthday Jack.
Kudos Keith and Renee, inspiring others comes naturally to both of you and that shows in your kids and these visitors as well.
16:14 Man the cinematography here is so well done. I swear i thought i was watching realityTV show for a moment.

Having those kids aboard was so much fun! You have to do it again!
Sounds like everyone had a good time. It's great that you can give a few kids a memory of a lifetime and likely make lifelong friends. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Sad to see everyone go! Don't waste you lives people, don't wish you had and shoulda, woulda, coulda yourself! Make it happen.
Awesome seeing the big guy!👈🏼👍🏼✌🏼 slam down on the wake ! Hit the ramp next time !
It was fun to watch those kids, good energy.
I am is like a cat in water, but love boat life. Absolutely. Anyway, when you are a kid (teenager), there is really only one way to find out, if something is your thing, and that is test and maybe fail. What a great team of teenagers, by the way. I am sure, that this bunch will be friends for life.
Love some modern mid-sea match-making - long live love
That ending was so sad 🥺
What an absolutely amazing experience with an awesome bunch of people! ❤
Geez it feels like they just got there and they're leaving already. So sad! We'll miss them too.
It was so sad to see them leave. I got really emotional watching. 😢
WOW that's all I got WOW. Congrats to Mom and Dad for making this happen for there kids and the others. They will never forget.
I pegged Bella all wrong. I thought she was going to be the drama but she was the energy of these kids. Good kid.
Brilllllliant - to see lives changed forever. Thanks for sharing 👍 bravo to their parents
Great episode. Actually they are all good, but it was great that you guys brought on these young folks to bond and learn more about the world. I enjoy your videos even while I'm freezing in MT right now.
So sad to see Ethan go. 😢
Looks like some connections are made, a lot of experience for the young ones. Amazing family, thanks you share with us. Waiting for another part ⛵
amazing kids in deep conversation. A journey to impact young sailors whether it be on the water or land.
My dentist does root canels in the office and charges me a couple hundred bucks. I been going to him for over 45 yrs. I know I am Old. Enjoy your channel, look forward to Thursday.
Having had a double root canal that eventually went wrong over the following years after ie: a WHOLE bunch of health issues with no explanation, then FINALLY realising how dodgey root canals are for your health-I went and got those two offending molars taken out (which came along with a suprise emotional release); I’m now realising that getting that tooths taken out was 99% the best solution in the first place…
I found your dentist footage brought back the trauma of the dentist office…
AND I never found dentist work disturbing before…
Just goes to show, how we store trauma memories in our bodies, even when we thought “I’m over that experience “
i have watched earlier episodes of Sailing Zatara and thought same ol same ol.
Wow, and I thought I loved Zatara before. Heart swells for all of you, since it was so sweet. This will not be the last, I'm sure.
That was a fun series. I am glad you opened yourselves up to this opportunity and how awesome to inspire these young minds. Well done Z-crew!
The next adventure awaits...
yeah i was wondering too if there wasn't a future Mrs. Jack or Mrs. Finn there in that batch.
For me is the hug just after of Finn and bella, where she takes her hat off! 🤪
Can't get much more romantic than a kiss on the deck of a gently-moving sailboat under the stars with the moon reflecting over the water--did it happen? I guess we'll never know.
