  • As usual, here's a video that no one asked for. But it's been a pivotal journey for me and I want to share it in case anyone else might benefit from it. Recovery can be contagious!

    Hi from Australia. What a great way to start my day..I learned a few things and had a few laughs. I have followed your bullet journal videos for a couple of years, but I really enjoyed this video…love how real you are. I will be using the ‘I don’t eat candy today’ strategy (not overweight but definitely addicted to sugar). Thanks for sharing your story & congratulations on your achievement! Your weight loss is amazing, but what stood out more to me was the happy positive spark in your eyes. You have inspired this sugar eating couch potato to make some changes 😊

    Thanks for this, I found it comforting and motivating. I'm 1.73m and 208 lbs with a similarly unhealthy relationship with food to yours.

    What a gem you are - this was really interesting! I hope you'll make a video about running (or walking), too! My choice is walking but you seem to be really passionate about running and I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.

    Abstaining from candy specifically is a good idea, because it's so specific. I eat way too much candy and I have previously tried to cut out sugar and you get into reading labels and hidden sugar and natural vs artificial. It's needlessly complicated.

      Agreed. Sugar is A problem but not MY problem. MY problem is that damn candy!

    Having the same thing every day is easier, fewer decisions, less stress. I put on 20-30 lbs during the pandemic and I am just now starting to make changes to slowly drop them.

    I'm 5'7" and I have never thought of myself as short overweight yes but short not me

      5'9" is average for men, so I'm not *short* short, but I'm usually looking up at other guys. 🙂
