playing her mother fucking ass off. and the BEST band one could ever have with you. Just insanity. Best era for Tori ever. THE most powerful.
Tori is a once in a lifetime genius artist.
I saw her live about 25 years ago.
Wolverhampton in the UK.
I was right by the stage.
Some bloke shouted out "Tori, I want to marry you."
And she replied "Don't marry a pianist, we're all fucked in the head."... or something like that.
Stunning performers, all.
Thank you.
I'd marry her anyways . Even if for a day
@@Wally-pu2hh Yup!
I saw her pretty early in her career here in Baltimore. Someone yelled out "I love you!" She paused and quietly said I love you too. It was a very quiet and intimate venue.
It was a precious day hey ,,I’m in this audience right next to the barrier next to the blonde gal in camouflage gear
She helps me get through the hard times.
I feel her suffering about the miscarriages here so strongly. I wasn't born when this performance took place, but if I could've been there I would have sent her all my love and prayed for relief. Of all people, she deserves joy, back then and now.
Man she is so plugged into The Source during this performance. I mean she always is, but this gig its like the voltage is turned UP!! She's right there in it, in every note.
Well, you know, it’s Glastonbury, so she was probably talking to faeries and stuff backstage before the show. 😊
I was walking through the crowd to get to the front when some guy nearly took my eye out with his umbrella ☔️
If I remember correctly the way in can be seen on the right hand side we had to put our hand through a little hole in the window of a stall the guy said where is it I said there lol I’d hitched and the people who owned the car paid a tenner each I just stuck my hand out and he stamped it I reckon it was milk 😂😂😂
@@kaerbearI reckon she talks to fairies all the time 😂 don’t have to be a special occasion 😂🎉
You watch this and there is no mystery whatsoever as to why Tori was successful.
Bloody Hell! That was fuckin Awesome. I wish this was available in full HD sound and picture quality.
Mate you should’ve been there it WAS AWESOME
I love TORI AMOS! BRILLIANT artist, very innovative and unique. Gorgeous melodies, intriguing and moving lyrics! She's iconic.
Yes. She IS iconic
Don't forget how attractive she is especially her vampirism teeth, beautiful eyes , fiery hair , just so fine 😍
My God. What an amazing concert. Precious things is absolutely amazing here
Great band too. Her band’s always been incredible.
Veteran fan, privleged to have seen her 14 times. Seen tons of footage for diff shows over the yrs and this is *THE* most animalistic I have ever seen her play. Raw abandon. Mmmm awesome! A true rock artist here.
bigtimetorifan LUCKY 💗😍💖🤗
Tori is from another planet. The best. I am another fan from Argentina.
Juan Manuel Cabrera Paulí I always say the same thing, she isn't of this world :)
She’s awesome live isn’t she
Awesome ozric tentacles 🦑
Great performance. I love Tori and respect her playing and singwriting so much!
Thank you Tori your music provides light in dark times
"Precious Things" directly at the beginning ~ BEST Performance of this Song from Tori EVER ~ POWER-POWER-POWER ~
and: WHAT an amazing DRUMMER ~ AWESOME !!!
Matt Chamberlain!!! Hes such a GREAT drummer.
Yep, the superb Matt Chamberlain... \m/ (:o)
Yes, yes and fucking yes!! If I ever want to listen to Precious Things this is where I come to do it.
Uffff! hermoso!!!!! en su mejor época musical un gran regalo, muchas gracias por este concierto!!!
Love this woman's music. Quality
Precious Things... So raw. I feel taken on a journey and then sent back out again. Incredible synch with the guys.
amazing
how did I miss this full set... what an unbelievable performance. thanks for the upload.
I was there for this (my first and last Glastonbury - never again!), what I wouldn't give for a better quality video of this set...
Can't believe this was 18 years ago. Wow... time flies.
20 now!
25… I can math.
Fantastic performance and the start into very successful years for Tori. The Albums "little earthquakes" and later "To Venus and Back" were more than a little earthquake. She was a fireblast, an eruption then!
no stupid smartphones....goood times
I hope you're not watching this on a smartphone
@@stevebinning977 Don't tell anybody, but he is!
@@stevebinning977 Pmsl! \m/ (:o)
This is beyond amazing - thanks so much, @Victor Souza xx I had no idea this amazing performance was recorded. Bless our Darlingheart Tori Amos, she's beyond comparison!
My god. Precious Things is so angry and primal, I'm gonna enjoy this I know. God...........Crucfy................Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Wow what a gig, what a band, and hats off to whoever mixed the sound. Jons bass is sublime and Matts drums are as crisp as Winter snow and Steve does what Steve does.
That Bosendorfer sounds immense and anyone buying a concert grand should take this as a glowing review - what a sound, and the abuse Tori subjects it to !
what a performance !
I wish she still made music like this. This is Tori at her best.
De France.
Les personnes présentes à ce concert se rendent elles compte du privilège qu' elles avaient d'y être et d'assister à l'énorme prestation de Tori Amos la Légende et l'Icône du piano voix !!!.
This is amazing. Thank you. 😊
Just saying, it's 3.30 AM and I have been meaning to go to bed for quite a while and then i stumbled on this and took 20 more minutes of bedtime away (I don't know how I managed to stop before 'God', will resume tomorrow)! Damn it, wish I were adult enough in those years to go see her live..!
Trust me, @52 shows and counting, you definitely missed soo much!!. I’m sorry!
Grande artista, admiro desde o primeiro álbum (lançado há 30 anos, em 1991).
Another beautiful performance, I have found memory's of seeing her live with a band , they gave her music a energy and took her music to another place
thank you for this!
Grandiosa!!!!
Делает от всей души! Восхищаюсь этим талантом!

TORI IS THE BEST!! 4EVER!!
And so, quietly, we wait for the next Tori Amos to arrive on the music scene...
+zerospacer Laura Nyro in the 60s/70s, Kate Bush in the 80s, Tori in the 90s. By my reckoning, we are owed 2 goddesses of music, one for the 00s and for this decade. Because I sure as hell haven't seen any of that caliber.
Come on, universe. Don't hold out on us!
+zerospacer here she is... Amy Lee ;)
zerospacer It wont happen Im afraid
I'm talking about someone who is the total package who arrives with originality, amazing singing, songwriting/instrumental prowess.
Maybe they are out there somewhere. I'm busy listening to metal. To me, it's the most art-centric genre.
I'm not interested in indie preciousness type music, tired of people who call themselves musicians but don't learn to play their instruments beyond a simple level, sing like children.
Yes, there are people making weird, idiosyncratic music that exists in their little world.
Maybe I will like some of it if I give them another chance.
It doesn't have to be mozart, it doesn't have to be total prog. But people like Jeff Buckley make me want to listen to something other than metal sometimes. I like hearing pop that is ambitious without trapping itself in pretentiousness. Not hearing much today that does that.
zerospacer try Jesca Hoop, especially the first record, Kismet. came out in 2007. for me she's the real deal.
thank you for sharing =)
One of the best Glastonbury festivals I ever attended.
Me too wasn’t she brillig great line up that year bob dylan fuck the mud,,
@@jamesdarrenhepworth7014 I see your vocabulary has improved in the past 25 years.

Thanks!
Gotta love this performance, so groovy! :)
Classic tori totally amazing
Been a massive fan of Tori since late '93 (Little Earthquakes album) and have loved every era of her music but, fuck me, this point with this 'band'/line-up was absolutely awesome! Fantastic players. Just listen to the power here. Wonderful performance... \m/ (:o)
My favorite drummer, Matt Chamberlain!
Do you know who's on the bass?
Found out: Jon Evans
One of the best!!
The more I watch her concert videos, the more I have also acquired an appreciation and adoration for “The man who hits things”
Straordinaria come sempre!!

Eu também! 🥰
Amazing. One thing though: am I crazy or does the tempo slow down in the beginning of the first verse of God?
Sounds that way to me too.

I had tickets to see Tori Amos in Wales 1998 she cancelled to do Glastonbury 😡
She's only ever been here once - Cardiff 94. Shame because she told me she loves the Welsh. I wish she would come back!
