Well, first, all the national newspapers are either weekday or Sundays. Second, 91% of the audience chose Sunday, which is probably a record, so this is hardly abstruse knowledge. Third, she told us she worked in a supermarket and remembered putting out the Sunday papers. She knew the answer!!!

100% the hardest questions I've ever seen on this show, are they running out of money?
Especially the contactless payment one , that’s one of them annoying questions where it almost forces a 50-50 to be used. Most people would know it’s not two or five but wouldn’t be able to say if it’s three or four. Just a poor question.
The need to use an early lifeline rocked her confidence and she kept making self deprecating jokes. She was unlucky that she had some tough questions early on!
What tough questions? She knew all the answers immediately up to £4,000 except where she second-guessed herself through nerves on The Observer: a question 91% of the audience got right so clearly it was not a tough question. And even at £4,000 she basically knew Crystal Palace and wasted a second lifeline.
Nothing wrong with using a lifeline for a low end question if you are stuck. I've seen people do it and ended up winning alot of money. If you need help, ask, don't be proud.
It's joyful to watch, because 'she' is a photographer, so she's used to looking after people, and 'he' is trying to get help her get the 'picture' right. They almost become friends in front of us.
The contestant before her won £8000 which was his safety net and burning all his lifelines to get there. He did get up to 32000 somehow but ended up losing some money on Live Aid.
That’s why women should be nowhere in power corridors. Leaving home with no money and 2 life lines available can only be an outcome with a very stupid woman at helm of affairs!
I've seen several people get up to 125k with all questions easier than the last two here
I looked at one of my bank cards while I waited. In 35 years, I'd never even noticed that symbol and I don't use cash at all.
To be fair, I never read newspapers and would've only been able to guess that The Observer was a Sunday only paper. Not easy for a £200 question.

No you're just a bit thick
Yep. Ant and Dec are a big expense for ITV.
Brutal questions
I will admit, I didn't know 4 of the 5 "easy" questions. But I will blame some of that on not being British.
These must be the worst questions I've ever seen on this show....she wasn't particularly stupid, the questions were

@@Louis-o6e But 50-50 still leaves you three and four, then what?
@@johnmartin6622 then at that point you curse under your breath and try another lifeline
10:00 That was something I never saw Regis, Meredith, Eddie, or Chris Tarrant do.

She was thinking of the Wi-Fi symbol 😂
I think so too
Those questions to get to £1k... I would be using 2 lifelines there (no idea about Banksy no Observer).
its an obvious comment but she really should have used a lifeline rather than a wild guess. really bad luck on the questions.
I truly thought it was three too.
I don't have contactless.
I would have had to use my lifelines just to get to 1,000. Really, really tough for her
Those were tough questions. She was unlucky.

I thought she should've asked him about the lines. It's the sort of in your face detail nobody pays attention to that he might know.
She tried, it’s for fun 😂😂😂
close! it's actually for large amounts of money
very cool video!

What did he mean when he said that she won't be the worst contestant? How much did the previous contestant win?

@christopherdavison4400 appreciate it, thanks
Someone got zero. He didn't know who played RAMBO.
LOL
What an odd occasion - all seems a bit fishy.
I only knew the 1st one & I knew the 2,000 before the answers came up. The rest I had 0 idea. Hardest questions I've ever seen on the show.
I thought Jeremy was gratuitously rude to a contestant who wasn't stupid but got several very difficult questions.
I think these questions were ridiculously difficult for a Starr.
3 lines and a dot-Trick question...so Esme was right-Millionaire wrong-shame on them...

How ironic it is that some of the dumbest things you hear are from people who watch quiz shows.
She won £1000
Yet some people went home with nothing & even some left with getting the 1st one wrong. She wasn't stupid. These were tough.
men have done this too on the show you do know that?
Who hurt you?
