when she didnt ask jez about the stopping distance first. his reply was classic clarkson. "i dont think weve got anyone here who can answer this" brilliant.
I have a great new idea for a lifeline. Ask a random audience member. Selected at random, they can come up from their seat and discuss the question with the contestant.
@@awwboiz : It can make sense to reduce the options to just 2 before asking the audience. When the choices are spread over 4 options it often dilutes the audience's responses. I agree about the car question, but liked her response - I'm saving you for a more difficult one (or words to that effect).
I think most people know Truman took over from FDR, but how many know he was the latter's vice-president? And in the absence of that knowledge, it's not obvious he was a Dem.
@@MariaWerner-sf1ef Knowing which party a president from the 1940s-1950s was from is not something the average Brit would know. Would you know which party British Prime Minister Clement Atlee was from?

Hilarious
She was one of the most fun participants I've seen - lots of personality!
She was lovely!
She is a great joy to watch , and well done for not using the host on a car question.
6 seconds for that fastest finger?! God damn I need to apply for this show.
13:03 I was thinking the same thing 😂😂
I've been driving for fifty years. I know how distance I need to stop at any speed, but not in metres (or feet).
I am no judge of distance, but how many people are?
1:23
4:20
lovely

I like it!
They have that in the German version (instead of ask the host).
The Philippine Version also has that. It's called People Speak
We have it in Finland too! Instead of one audience member you get to pick three! These three must be chosen from people who voluntarily stand up
People's speak in WWTBAM Philippines
Am I the only one who didnt know the answer to questions 2, 3, 4 & 5 ://// wow
2 and 3 I didn't
Same, knew 1 and 6 but none inbetween
Well played, but she struggled 😂😂😂
She didn’t play well, using a 50/50 before asking the audience, setting safety net with all life lines intact, and not asking Jeremy a motor question

I can't believe she use 2 lifelines on an easy question, she didn't know for sure but damn 2 lifelines.
It’s only easy if you know the answer
shakespeare question wasnt easy for a early question!!
It was easy! Truman was Roosevelt's vice president, from the same democratic party.
Yes, I knew that one, but some people have no knowledge of political history.
I think most people know Truman took over from FDR, but how many know he was the latter's vice-president? And in the absence of that knowledge, it's not obvious he was a Dem.
Truman was an easy question! Clarkson should have known this! I lived in the town he was from when I was an exchange student - Independence, Missouri
That's why it was an easy question for you.
@ Not really - that was just a coincidence. Knowing the US presidents is general education. At least Clarkson should have been able to answer it.

😅😂😅😂😮😢🎉
Lampard is not the current Chelsea manager!
But he would have been when this was first screened.
this was from 2019, when he started managing Chelsea
How didn't Jeremy remember that FDR was a democrat and Truman was his VP.
It wasn't his president he is British. We are not all infatuated with America
Believe it or not, most of the world doesn’t give a toss about US politics.
Great rack!
Why does the host keep taking his glasses on and off? Either he needs them or he doesn't
People who need glasses to read (small) text tend to prefer not to wear them at other times.
His name is Jeremy Clarkson. Put some respect on his name.
There's such things called Reading glasses mate.
Aww. You’re a wee one 😂 cute

They can B ghastly to use & wear.
Even bifocals can mess with your deep perception.
God Another One That says so Before speaking A sentence.
The party is Democrat..... not democratic.
