Honestly for Knuckles if he ever got a spin-off, just make it a game that uses the Werehog sections of Unleashed, it would make perfect sense for a character like him.
In a parallel universe where sonic 06 was considered one of the best sonic games this is possibly what sonic unleashed could’ve been like

@@coldmolten8347 I’m adamant that if the werehog wasn’t so ugly, and if the premise didn’t “appear” so cringy, the game wouldve been seen in a way better light. Not only would we still get playable characters, but the unleashed style boost formula would’ve stayed longer

@@BeastmdThe werehog isn’t ugly or cringe, it’s just the idiot at IGN who reviewed this who destroyed any chance of unleashed getting a fair chance. And Wdym by that? The boost formula is the longest one yet, it keeps on getting rehashed, even in frontiers, a combat game.
@@e.ggamerguy5793 werehogs design is/was controversial, even sonic team in an interview said they knew it would be mixed reception in the design. Even tho igns review is horrible, I feel like blaming gaming journalists, especially pre 2010, for your bad reception is out of touch. And I said unleashed boost style, aka not what forces and colors are (tho colors prob would’ve played closer to unleashed wii). Frontiers might not even exist the way it does too
