water is free in The Netherlands, but only when you ask for tap water (which is actually very good tasting water)... tap water is generally free everywhere, but the taste of it differs so much country to country
Belgium: 1) Only in touristy places and/or businesses(cinemas, concerts, etc.) and the money goes to the cleaning crew. Think of it as tipping. 2) No restaurant is going to refuse you tapwater if you ask but drinks are the profit makers in Belgian restaurants and the like. Not ordering a normal drink can again by compared to not tipping. You're taking away their way to make a profit. 3) Yep, nearly every town has some fun history with often known historical characters. Not to mention myths and legends. My town rebaked heads and placed a coal on the stump while they waied. Too much heat makes you a hothead and such. There are multiple others(failed ones, too much water, etc.) but the translations are a bit rough. Old dutch and all that. 4) The US has a big divide between resident and commercial zones. I work at a shop attached to my house and can walk to several shops. That's the massive difference. I go and get gass maybe once every 3-4 months. 5) While football is huge here, football isn't the biggest everywhere in Europe. 6) Still full at the end of the meal. Stomachs stretch. You get used to whatever you eat normally. 7) Except for France(35% compared to 25% in the US) actually few European countries have more smokers outside of the Balkans. What is true is that it's probably more acceptable to smoke in public. They're more visible but that doesn't mean there's more of them.
i don't like watching videos about europe made by non europeans because they make the videos based on things they experienced once which doesnt happen to the majority of europeans who actually live in europe
In Estonia is public WC 20-50 cents. But there is quaranteed toiletpaper, water to clean Your hands ,handsdryer , mirror and of course if neede can help for handycap or cleaning if earlier client stuck some places.
01:27 that because too mush holmess, narcomans and arrgont people use only water and not service. Of coaurce in Estonia You get more then tiny bottle of water if You order and pay 2 -3 euros -ca 1-2 L water jug. Wter is cold or even with lime or cucuruba slices.
1:57 most of it was destroyed either by the colonizers or later by treasure hunters. 2:49 you're right, it's in order to trap viewers and reactors from Murica, that's the mini coke are shown in videos. 2:55 glass is easier to recycle than plastic and it's cheaper in terms of general production cost, because it's easy to recycle. 3:44 by the end of high schooli was able to speak 2 foreign languages quite well and a third language that I could have a basic conversation with ( i forgot a lot about that one )
"most of it was destroyed either by the colonizers or later by treasure hunters." - Honestly there is ALOT left. Sadly its mostly just overlooked and ignored.
13 . Yes electric cars but over the EU this points are to litlle to get 300-400 km range electric car charge . 1kW price 40 cents and average electric car needed for 400km range 36 kWh.
Paying for a toilet for example having traveled in Belgium, Netherlands, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, the UK and Italy is something that rarely happens. It's always a surprise when I come across them.
@@Londronable You have to know what Toilets are from private profit driven companies (here you have to pay) and where the toilets are you do not have to pay. Best Examples are german Autobahn toilets. At Gas Stations (private owned profit orientated companies) you have to pay because they want to make money. But many rest-only-parking-lot-like-rest-places on the Autobahn have free toilets (on the highway the "Rest place in 5km" sign has a white square with the letters WC in black). Restaurant must have a free toilet for their customers (you can tip the toilet cleaning lady if there is one but this is only optional and no MUST). In bigger cities the public toilet boxes are often not free because many druck addicted used them to prepare their next shot when they where free. Now the doors opens only after you put some money in and the junkies uses other locations.

Many of these "generalisations" aren't really true or are too specific to a certain country
that sounds right :)
Yeah, this person in the video clearly do not know what he was talking about. Like, completely off.
I mean Russia is very different from rest of Europe. But all the other stuff is pretty accurate.
most of these things seem to be what the French would do btw :D mostly not true in my country

I understand this, Its like that for the US also, but its almost worse when made by Americans because they are very biased based on where they live.
Cigarettes is not cool in Europe..

You have to directly ask for tap water in europe then it is usually free.
That makes sense. Thank you

I'm from Europe, I've visited many other European countries. Never encountered most of these.

@@Londronable I only ever encountered pay toilets in Croatia, on the highway. This was back in 2006-2007, haven't seen them at all in recent years.

Wouldn't say smoking is cool.
