Loved seeing this student. His swing is pretty much where I was this spring but I was even more discombobulated. You're videos along with my local pro have helped tremendously.
This channel has improved my game so much. I wish I could come to the CT clinics since I live in NJ, but I will be on vacation at that time. I would love to see a video with a high handicapper (I'm literally a 33 handicap beginner). I'm very inconsistent, I'll hit a nice 7 iron 155 yards and then duff the next shot 40 yards on the ground. Usually topping it when I have misses or sending the ball left.
Porzak, . Started taking golf seriously 3 years ago. Your videos are money. Went from 99 to 76 from 6800 yards. Wish you were closer to Florida. Be cool to have a live lesson. I'm 6'4" with big hands , at the top or transition is the only time I feel like I don't have full control of club all the time. Definitely feels like that's where my bad swings come from. Great videos dude!
Adam, Brilliant! I have been trying everything for the last year to shorten my backswing. Your roller coaster drill has simplified my effort immediately. Thank you!
I was the guy in the lesson. It has always been my issue. The roller coaster drill and feeling like I have my lead shoulder take the club away helped my extra run off. Still, it's a work in progress. Make sure you film your swing; feel vs. real can be completely different.
It took me 2 years to change my swing from full to 3/4 back and trough and consistently do it. Feel and real are different, when i thought I'd mastered it my 3/4 swing was actually a full swing, had to go waist high to waist high it was actually ear to ear. But was worth it, way more consistent without any loss of distance.
A good drill to accomplish that feel is the feet together with rhythm swing half swing back to half swing finish. Work on it doing 50% 60% and 70% swimgs
I guess each person needs different feels for their swing flaws. My tendency is to rush my transition and start my downswing by pulling on the club with my hands. This leads to improper sequencing and poor shots. The feeling of gathering everything at the top of my backswing and my hands being a bit passive in transition is what helps my sequencing and timing.
I continue to love your approach of making videos from real lessons instead of trying to generate forced content on a technique or topic. The content just flows naturally from the lessons. Excellent.
Hi Adam - I’m thinking about how to apply the “Do Do Do” rollercoaster thought with the 90%-10% feel from your previous videos. Is it right to think that the “Do Do Do” is the same as the “90%”? I think that’s correct but in this video the “Do Do Do” portion doesn’t visually look like it’s taking up 90% of the turn Thank you!!!
The biggest change shortening made for me is forcing you to swing through with chest, legs, and rotation. You have no choice but to become more passive with the face to keep your distance and speed.

That is exactly my problem. And it's hard to stop that habit of turning my body too soon.
Just started watching and absolutely love your channel. I’m still pretty terrible so would love to see you do a lesson with a high handicapper!
You’ve done it again. Great stuff buddy

Florida is definitely on our clinic radar!
A Canada clinic would be awesome for your Canadian followers @@PorzakGolf

Adam, you said it at the 1:20 mark! Golf is very much an athletic response to a stationary object!

Ear to ear?
Thanks for the video ! 😎
That s for me the most difficult thing to do..Arms want to go too far behind de body..looks easy to correct but that not..
Thank you from France.
You're welcome!
I was in a hook rut with my irons. Took this video to the range and started flushing. In Porzak we trust.

Porzak, is there anyway I could send my swing over email for an analysis?
I now use the Rollercoaster drill in my pre hitting drill and find I’m hitting the ball much more consistently
Hi Adam, will this same concept work with the Driver and woods?

Coach Adam, I’m 5’7” generally speaking, would you recommend a flatter lie angle for irons (1-2 degrees) for my height? Appreciate it!
