I loved hearing you say that you need to learn the chemistry behind the ingredients and how they interact. My brother was a cosmetic chemist professionally--he worked for Avon, Estee Lauder, and when he specialized in sunscreens, Banana Boat, before he started a private label company, SPF Labs. Unfortunately he died in 2012 at the age of 67. You made me think of him and smile :-)

TaraLee btw your series wasn’t a failure in fact I often go back and rewatch certain ones for reference points. You are only lacking exposure everything else is there and you certainly put in the effort editing. It’s always slow starting out but one day you will blow up overnight and start cashing in those sweet ad revenue checks.
I have an idea for a skincare line that I’m really excited about and have all of my labels made and know what products I want to make, but I am having a hard time with the actual formulas and your channel has been LIFE SAVING for me. I literally watched like 30 of your videos today because they are all SO HELPFUL for people like me who are trying to figure things out. Thank you so much for all of the info !!!!! 💖☺️

Hey hun so I have a question you know in the oil phase can I add sheer butter and bees wax as the emulsifier ... can I pour the water into to that? Or will it not work?

How do we know which phase should be added into the other? Sometimes I see people adding the water phase into the oil one and the opposite .

I always have a love for cosmetic and I want take it from hoppy to a business and your channel is great. Thank you very much scpecilly the formulating ones. Can I make cosmetic products even though I'm not a dermatologist or a doctor?
I have commented on all your videos but it was my binge watching series so I dont know why I didn't comment on it may be were I started to learn something every time I'm watching the whole series but one thing to mention this series'is like a life time guide to me you made it everything in a clear manner iam really loving it this time I made some anhydrous formulation and going to make some batches with you while watching and writing notes and experimenting with lot of my creativity and going to learn live . I am wanting to mix oil to my store bough aloe Vera gel. It is a big bottle. What preservative should I use for this? I’ve done a lot of research and it keeps giving me info for natural aloe Vera from the plant but I use store bought gel on my face

Some people for hair styling products mix..carnauba+ beeswax+ microcrystalline wax..do you have a video on why they do it and how they come up with on what amount to blend these with each other?
Sometime they use single wax type.

Any type of product you have in mind specifically? I have made a few serums using Hyaluronic acid here on my channel. Also I have a plan for a lotion using hyaluronic acid. not sure when that video will be up though.
