Magical 🎶🎶🎶💝🎁 I love that she doesn’t OVERSING, you know she can sing, but it’s not always necessary, she connects more with the lyrics and emotions, than most vocalists!! 💘
Kelly is incredible. Can sing all genres and sound amazing, and credible, like she was meant to sing it; swing, Big band, soul, rock, pop, country, Broadway, anything!
You should react and listen to “Silent Night” the live version that she did with Reba and Trisha. I don't know why that version hasn't been more popular, is just a vocal demonstration from the three of them. Merry Christmas 🎄
The vid you probably saw of it was uploaded, then cancelled, then re-uploaded under a different title... Either YT went berserk or sthg, idk.. Anyway, one exists on a 'vevo' account and this one gathered 47M views since its upload of 12.12.2013 (and not 47k views) = " Kelly Clarkson - Silent Night (Official Video) ft. Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire "
What you didn’t see in the O Holy Night clip, was that when Kelly was done she was literally crying. The song brought a lot of emotion to her along with memories of when she was a kid and her mom always have her sing that song no matter where they went. I think she was singing it for her mom and so she was emotional at the end.
Jason has been with her since she won American Idol and is her music director. He does write and arrange some of her songs. You should listen to her song I Dare You. She sings with a variety of artists from all over the world and sings with them in their language. She wrote the song and collaberated with the artists during the covid lockdown. No studio or fancy microphones just singing over the internet. Its amazing.
Lots of singers out there, but what makes Kelly different? Her voice and range is awesome, but I think it is the way she puts her emotions to the words and really feels them when she sings them. She also genuinely LOVES to sing any where. While it is apparent that she sings well live even without much rehearsal (Kellyoke) she will also open up and sing on the street or with fans. This with good humor and not afraid to laugh at herself or accept that she’s human too A real down to earth gal who is a great person all around.
She is a great sport. This clip of her hitting a bad note cracks me up every time. She had her producer loop it and posted it. ua-cam.com/video/iyyYv0Klbvg/v-deo.html
You are correct in the similarities that Kelly shares with Elvis, in that she isn't really an artist of a singular genre. They both quite naturally exude a bit of everything. Like Elvis she can sing anything, and can evoke deep emotional feelings from the listener.
First of all, thank you for your reactions to Kelly over the past year. I've been a fan of hers since the beginning, from her journey through American Idol, and I will always love her voice and her phrasing during a song. The thing about Kelly is very simple: she loves music and beautiful, great songs, and she appreciates great vocal delivery and great voices. First, she is a fan of a song or an artist, which is why it's very easy for her to learn and perform a song on the same day, she already knows the song. She has music in her soul and a very unique instrument - her voice.
"My Grown Up Christmas List" with Pentatonix will blow you away. Watch the live version in Vegas!! Kelly is my favorite vocalist and it's been a delight watching you discover her talent. More reActions please.
After she sang that song she got emotional because it’s one of her mothers favorite Christmas songs as well as her music director’s favorite Christmas song
Kelly is 41. She also wrote "Underneath the Tree" in 2012. You should react to the original version of the song also. She also does not usually run thru any of her Kellyokes before she performs them. As far as "Oh Holy Night" she was not really holding bsck on the 2nd verse she was crying and trying to keep from losing her composure which she did end up doing when she tried talking to the audience when the song was over.
Love Love Love your Kelly reactions! I think you need to do her cover of The Dance at the Garth Brooks Kennedy Center Honors ceremony. It was after her divorce - she told Garth on her show that she used the song as part of her coping. " I could have missed the pain - but I'd of had to miss the dance." 😢
Love it! Merry Christmas! Thanks for reacting to that jazz Underneath the tree I recommended! Glad you liked it! The jazzy last Christmas is on her second Christmas record so on that kellyoke she wasn’t singing it for the first time and they had thought it through more than these kellyokes that come more quickly. So that’s the difference I think. Blue Christmas is also on her Christmas album but that’s on the first one. Both albums are great! They are a mix of orginals and classics. Couple of the orginals on the second one deal with her divorce feelings mixed with Christmas. Can’t wait too see you discovering all the great Kelly performances you haven’t seen yet and all the Kelly there is! So yes Jason with the keys is her Musical Director of 20 years and they just work together so great! He mostly produces for her on some of her albums. On her LA set of her show (they moved to NYC this fall), jason had a recording studio set up for Kelly so that she could record between working on the show. They recorded the kellyoke ep there (with her whole band working on it). Her band sometimes works on her albums but not all the time. I think it mostly happens when Jason is the producer. One of her band members Aben is one of her writing partners and over the years they’ve written such great songs. I think it helps that they know each other so well. He’s been with Kelly the longest after Jason, but doesn’t work on her show band (her show band includes her current band members). Sorry for the long answer again! 😂
I love your Kelly Clarkson reactions! I love seeing someone else discover her magnificence, just like I did! I also love how much you understand & appreciate just how talented she is! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! 🎄
Her first Christmas since her show moved its location to NYC! She's happier, but this does not hinder nostalgia to take hold of her... Also, i imagine, some strong feelings of relief (that can also bring someone to choke up, or to tears) to have her children finally tucked in, installed, and even happy at their new school (her son told her so, she explained in an interview)... Kelly mentioned several times that she was quite perplexed over her first NYC Halloween experience, but that the kids liked it..
It seems you appreciate Miss Kelly as much as we do. You'd love Santa Cant you hear me. Merry Christmas, looking forward to your reviews in the New Year sir
Definitely would love your reaction to Merry Christmas To The One I Used To Know” which she sang on the NBC special. Her voice and emotions are amazing, but I’d love your reaction to the words to the song. She is so great as a songwriter too.
Yes it's that Jason, who's written/produced with her a lot, Jason Halbert. He's been with Kelly since the beginning. He's her musical director and a wonderful human.
You're a man who can follow an artist down a rabbitt hole when he falls in love! I subscribed, I will follow you down any rabbit hole you choose. . What a wonderful perspective you have!
Looking forward for you to be reacting to some Chemistry performances - and an a tip the oldy ‘tightrope’ live in Vegas last year would be a nice one too 🙏
Hi Johnny, @BridgeTheGapReactions, if you're still in 'need' of uplifting / happy / lighter performances of our ck, I'd still recommend you check her 2018 BMA medley , when opening the ceremony. = " Kelly Clarkson | Billboard Music Awards Opening Medley Performance! " She made & gave another one for the 2019 edition of the Awards ceremony, which she hosted = " Kelly Clarkson - Billboard Music Awards | Medley Hits 2019 " Also, you could always try to catch her when ever she's with ARIANA GRANDE together, or NIALL HORAN : they crack her up, and she lets loose her competitive and hilarious sides with them .
Do yourself a favor and check her out sing Blues. She is known as one of the best singers to harmonize and a chameleon. Her youngest self learned Opera. She us her own musical instrument.
I wish there was a better version of her sing this, but "Beautiful Disaster" is a must listen! ua-cam.com/video/wcgFhwbbnOI/v-deo.htmlsi=cSdIKjHmpsOFoIsA
kelly clarkson sings from the gut. old school full open throat singing. nobody in pop music is really doing it like her at the moment. she really has become a master of her own instrument, when she is well rested & all cylinders are firing, its difficult to find a better and as consistent one out there. she really is hitting a new peak in her long 2 decades+ career. she really is the america’s sweetheart! merry Christmas. i can tell u r a big fan of vocalists. keep it coming my dude. hows queen camila lmao
Her rendition of "the Dance" At the Kennedy Center Honors is killer!
Magical 🎶🎶🎶💝🎁 I love that she doesn’t OVERSING, you know she can sing, but it’s not always necessary, she connects more with the lyrics and emotions, than most vocalists!! 💘
Yep, exactly. And there doesn't seem to be any artifice - it all feels so genuine. She's great
Yes! She can do the runs and everything, but she doesn’t overuse them! She doesn’t need to! Love her!
Thanks for more Kelly reviews. I can’t get enough of her amazing voice!
Me either!
She is 41 and so happy you are discovering how wonderful she is.
Kelly is incredible. Can sing all genres and sound amazing, and credible, like she was meant to sing it; swing, Big band, soul, rock, pop, country, Broadway, anything!
She is truly Mother Christmas.
She’s incredible. A vocal chameleon- she sings multiple genres in such a way that each comes across totally authentic. I adore her.
You should react and listen to “Silent Night” the live version that she did with Reba and Trisha. I don't know why that version hasn't been more popular, is just a vocal demonstration from the three of them.
Merry Christmas 🎄

I love it whenever she does something Jazzy. Both Christmas albums of hers are absolutely masterpieces 🤍🎄

She is the GOAT of vocalism
Kelly Clarkson is the best sing we have, She can do èvery style and make them all sound wonderful. 😊
Jason has been with her since she won American Idol and is her music director. He does write and arrange some of her songs.

Thank you, love this woman ❤❤❤
Her transitions are amazing and her band is called "Yall."
You HAVE TO react to her live duet with Ariana Grande on Santa Can't You Hear Me. You will NOT be disappointed.
Yes! Chemistry, please🎉

I agree, more and more of Kelly Clarkson
After she sang that song she got emotional because it’s one of her mothers favorite Christmas songs as well as her music director’s favorite Christmas song
I love Kelly. What a voice. She can cover any song. You got to hear her tributes to Reba Mcintyre and Dolly Parton.

Kelly Clarkson has been my favorite female singer since she started a couple decades ago.
I recommend you check out her original Wrapped in Red, from her Cautionary Christmas special. Epic!

🎄✌🏻🎄
Thank you, I hope you have a good one too!
I looove Kelly and Adam Lambert too!! Both so underrated
Love it! Merry Christmas! Thanks for reacting to that jazz Underneath the tree I recommended! Glad you liked it! Jason is a fantastic music director- he’s been with her since her win on American idol in 2002.

Wow that was the first time that I heard her rewrite. Thank You

Oh thank you for this sweet/lovely Christmas gift! Blue Christmas reminded me of Patsy Cline a bit. Wonderful vocals on all songs! Thank you Johnny!
Merry Christmas from across the pond. I've so enjoyed watching your education into Kelly's greatness!
Most of these arrangements are in her Christmas studio albums 😊
