Damn, that must have took a lot of patience to hold the shutter down for 3 whole hours. Proud of you, man.
I hope this story ends with you discovering that "Peach Crown Royal ATV Guy" found the treasure. And that you cross paths again to shoot a photo series on his rise as a stand up comedian, using only Lomo 800.
If I go to heaven, there better be film photography there
Came for the film, stayed for jason's drinking experiences
"And other film stocks that some may consider to be... experimental" Was that a Star Wars reference lol?
my gawd his dry humor is so perfect lmao
The DMT gnomes must have told that guy where the treasure was
haha, this probably the most honest and direct analogue film channel ever created and the humour is impeccable. Keep it coming!
Willem book in da back 😳
The color in those desert shots is gorgeous. No wonder this is such a popular film. Smaller operations simply repackage existing films, but Lomography is big enough these days to actually get Kodak to make a film from a recipe they don't have in normal production, so it is futile trying to figure out what it is. We know that Kodak does the manufacturing, but beyond that, we know nothing. Whatever it is, it is a film well worth using.
This video is a roller coaster from start to finish. First, film; then a beautiful long exposure shot, and then out of left field a campsite in the heart of darkness with a stranger that may have found buried treasure, it's wild.
Grainy: "I've been thinking alot lately about how I'm gonna die"
1 minute into the video and already subscribed, the humor resonates with me. Can’t wait to watch more of your recent videos. I’ve been studying analogue 6 months now and just came across your channel- I couldn’t be happier.
Man, all your vids about the California Wilderness make me want to visit just that much more. I'm in NC and while we do have our share of beautiful vistas, there's no desert out here and thats something I'd love to see.....
WHY IS THIS CHANNEL SO CHILL AND LAYED BACK AND MAKING ME LESS ANXIOUS AND SCARED ABOUT THE REAL LIFE. HOLY FUCK.
The star trails shot is absolutely amazing.

Before the Kodak price increase Lomo 800 was $20/3 rolls and a legitimate steal compared to Portra 800. As you’ve stated now the price difference isn’t that huge and Portra 800 is more readily available. I personally wasn’t a fan of how saturated Lomo 800 was when I shot it, but I only shot it in 35mm.
I was watching Peter McKinnon's video about the new Canon camera, and this video poped up. I quickly paused that one and watched this one instead:)
You should go back to that same campsite this time next year and see if drunk ATV guy shows up in a solid gold ATV. Then you'll know.
