Back again with some more Tears of the Kingdom!
Since the game has been out for a about a week now, I had some more time to check out some of the songs in the soundtrack. This song definitely stood out to me, so when I heard it... It was instantly time to make a remix for it!
First of all, this is definitely the hardest song I've ever done when it comes to the arrangement. Man these modern videogames don't joke around with their soundtrack. It's super technical and really, really hard to transcribe and play. Anyway, this song featured the iconic Dragon Roost Island melody so I HAD to just do it even if it was really hard...
Also, I tend to not make covers longer than around 3 minutes, but this song was also a whopping 4.5 minutes long... .
Welp, used my recorder in this one. I am definitely not a good woodwind player, but since this song featured flutes heavily I tried to put some real woodwind in the song as well. :)
Next time Octopath or Tears of the Kingdom? Don't know yet... We'll see!

Absolute fantastic work. Top 2 covers on UA-cam right now, easy. So glad this piece inspired so many talented musicians. The speed that some of you have put out such amazing work is incredible. This one definitely had me emotional when I played the game. The music took the entire thing from a pretty typical boss fight to one of the best in the series (along with attempting to dive through the boss and it actually working).

Tears of the Kingdom has got some absolute bangers, and this is one of them. Colgera is up there with Bongo Bongo and Stallord when it comes to coolest boss fights of all time.

My favorite arrow attachment for the colgera battle was the fire keese wings they increase the arrow speed and range and the fire element does extra damage to the weak points

Dragon Roost Island NOSTALGIA!
I've been thinking about doing this on electric in a different key. If i do it, would you be interested in a collaborative idea? I dont usually play song's exactly as they are, but i want to learn the basic idea of this song and keep it as it is and add solo areas full of dramatic experiences. I dont own many instruments, so it really makes it a difficult thing to perform for me, personally. But if i had someone who could do all of the other instruments and throw in some cool ideas on those instruments, i would be entirely okay with you taking full ownership of the video as long as i get my channel recognition. Im not in this for money, my goal is to aim for a good view count and enjoyment from the listeners. I just want to be able to reach more people with my music, covers and ideas is all. Just let me know! :)
