FDNY Rescue 4 responds to Box 4694

- About 30 seconds after Engine 292 responded to their box, Rescue 4 got toned out to Box 4694 on Linden Boulevard for an auto wreck. Just after Rescue 4 left quarters, they were returned. As they were backing into quarters, they were called over the air to respond to the same run that Engine 292 was on. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a second video of them running out. At any rate, Rescue 4 is a 2011 Ferrara Ultra. Enjoy the sight of the special unit getting toned out. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on March 9th, 2018.

@@stevegiu4232 I’m just talking about the rescue rigs damn
Would not want to be in their way if they were in a hurry.
FDNY doesn't get in a hurry.
@@glock22shooter It Depends, If A Company Is Supposed To Be First Due They'll Be In A Hurry, But If A Scene Is Under Control And They Get Called In To Help, They Usually Wont Be In A Hurry.
whats the rescue 4 story of 9/11?
What kind of call is a box 4694?
FDNY uses unique box numbers. The box number is basically an address. Generally the resources needed for a response have been programmed into the dispatch computer. So box 4694 would mean to send 2 engines, 2 ladders, 1 chief and any other specialty unit.
What truck is next to it
Engine 292 is housed with the Rescue.
Slow response !
Been to many fires? Doubt it.
Why does that rig never have the back door shut when they are moving? Its not like they have to jump off when it is moving! Health and safety would have a field day in UK if fire service vehicles drove around with doors open!
There’s no point in closing it, have you ever met the FDNY? Their always racing to emergencies and All 5 Rescues don’t close there doors so they can save some time getting in and out
UK Health and Safety would have a field day in any American fire house. We simply operate two entirely different ways, regardless of how who feels one way or another about it.
We won a war 240+ years ago to not give a shit about what the UK says.
