- After watching this video, you’re probably going to reread the entire series. Chapter 257 of Jujutsu Kaisen has recontextualized a huge amount of the series by havingtons of crazy reveals. These include, Yuji having a finger of Sukuna inside of him since Day 1, Yuji having a role within the Culling Game even before he was born & Yuji being Sukuna’s strange, soul uncle; we’ll just call him Uncle for the sake of simplicity. And I value the time of both you and I; so I’ll get straight into talking about the plot points from the past that either foreshadowed this reveal, or can be seen in a different way due to Sukuna and Yuji’s true connection being revealed. The first episode name in anime is actually sukuna ryomen instead of itadori , so I'm assuming he was the protagonist in this manga like naruto having the first episode to his name just evil version

Another hint at the whole revelation of sukuna and yuji would be when Gojo told Yuji about cursed energy. Gojo told Yuji that he didn’t have a cursed technique. But when you think about it, the reason he didn’t see a cursed technique was because how twin souls are really just one soul. And Yuji already housed Sukuna’s finger prior to actually consuming it so it just looked like Sukuna’s technique instead of Yuji having his own technique

Jin being selfless and not selfish by giving up his own life to allow Yuji to live would at least to me how Sukuna’s brother would have been: where Sukuna would eat and kill even steal food off another niggas plate, Sukuna’s brother would sacrifice his own meal so others can eat.
That kindness and that selfishness would’ve caused them to butt heads; Sukuna’s mother might’ve been a mix of both sons.
She must’ve sacrificed a lot to bring Sukuna into the world but she also fought when she had to only sharing her meals with the worthy

I dunno how much more reveal we get but the only way it makes sense to me is if yuji's mom died while pregnant and kenjaku resurrected her and carried yuji to birth. But if he clapped kenmomku, I really question his goodness.

If Yuji had one of Sukuna's fingers inside him from day one, then that would explain why Yuji had a superhuman body even before the awakening of his Cursed Energy.
So him.....being a curse painting wouldn't explain that?

I wonder if Kenjaku is the mother that starved Sukuna and it where his obsession with a fused being escalated to Tengen. He may have been forging the Itadori line to create a body to house and then weaken Sukuna so he could either finally control Sukunas body or force him to activate his true intended merger this whole time. This all could have been just to create a being that could destroy a six eyes user and leave Tengen vulnerable, making Yuji the one to truly “inherit his will.”
Kenjaku is like 400 years older than sukuna and if I’m not mistaken a six eyes user is born like ever 400 years right? So this theory actually holds up 🤯
@@justinclem9913 i want to say that there is no statement of every 400 years, simply that the last one before Gojo was 400 years ago. Also the 3 major clans werent around so wether the limitless curse technique existed during the Heian era is questionable. You would think it would be a pretty significant curse technique and a heian era gojo clan member would be pretty rememerable to much of history as the second strongest if not stronger then Sukuna.

And kenjaku killed one of them when they were a baby right? Maybe that’s the six eyes user that kenjaku killed because he realized just how OP he would be when he was grown.

@@justinclem9913 Kenjaku is much older Sukuna, because Dhruv the ancient sorcerer in the Culling games participated in the Wa Rebellion and that was around 180, the oldest documented war in Japan and the Heian Era only started in the 700s, plus we do not even know when Sukuna was born as the Heian Era lasted 400 years on its own
Yuji containing a sukuna finger as a baby is absolutely insane to think of, imagine a baby lashing out because of hunger or something, and just breaking everything around him because of his uncontrolled strength
Let the record show that Yuji would not have reached this level if Kenjaku didn’t take those backshots.

I have a feeling that Sukuna’s mother was a mistress much like Noritoshi Kamo’s mom except when the affair was found out about, she was left in the streets to starve while pregnant, meaning she was either a peasant or a servant of a noble (Sukuna’s most likely father). This would explain why Sukuna both are his brother to survive since his mother starved, why he was considered an unwanted wretch as a child (possibly by his own mother as well after realizing what he’d done in the womb), and how Sukuna gained his aristocratic mannerisms.
He (and Jin) are the unwanted bastard children of a noble that had an affair with Sukuna’s mother that resulted in the twin pregnancy. The truth of this ordeal caused Sukuna’s mother to be left on the streets with no support, left to starve with Sukuna acquiring his cannibalistic tastes after eating his twin in the womb to survive. His mother likely also abandoned him after birth after realizing what he did as well as his disfigured appearance that came as a result of being a conjoined twin (like the slightly messed up face and multiple eyes that his mummy even possesses), leaving Sukuna to fend for himself which impacted how he developed.
The noble that impregnated Sukuna’s mother likely went on to have more legitimate children that would be the ancestors of the Itadori family (and maybe the Kamo family too)

Great video man, some headcanon I have is that when Kenny unsealed all the cursed objects after Shibuya, that was when that finger was unsealed, but yuji was strong enough at that point/sukuna was done that it didn’t affect him. And that Megumi being a sorcerer could just be really good at detecting cursed energy, that’s why, in chapter 1, him but no other cursed spirits could feel the faint energy of the unsealed finger.
Either that or newborn yuji had sukuna come out and give the “where’s the women and children at” speech in a diaper, I’d like to see that too tho
what if megumi being able to abnormally sense cursed energy is some kind of thing that'll be revealed in the future....maybe something leading to a boost for him....

I actually theorized this from a while back with the real merger being the combination of twins into one being in the real world. It’ll be the first time something like that has happened!

....am I reading something different? Where does it state that yuji had a finger sealed in him from birth? It says sukuna is basically his uncle, and he was being bred to basically be a participant in the games. It never say yuji had a finger in him since birth...

Kenjaku gotta be one of the biggest masterminds in all of fiction, that makes me believe that he isn't dead. There's too much that's unanswered and as a lot of the plot is due to his doings I think he may be the final boss.

To me it has always seems weird that sukuna appear out of nowhere after yuji ate the finger. As if anyone in the verse ate one of sukuna fingers, it would have lead to sukuna rise again. But now we know for sure that only yuji can (and maybe megumi) could utilized sukuna finger power. Because he is from sukuna soul family.
It is a great detail that makes the story more touching and more personnel. As yuji and megumi became best friends.
It is also good to finally have all of sukuna fingers location before the Manga end. It is also notable to see that most of the fingers were in possession of sukuna minions
I feel like sukuna right now is 19 fingers and he also ate his old body from the golden era of sorcery as a compensation for the final finger. And the final finger was eaten by Rika when Yuta and Sukuna were fighting eachother which's exactly why Yuta was able to copy and use shrine (cleave and dismantle).
1:53 this would explain why the age of curses would never die so long as these two are alive. They are literal spawning and attraction points for any and all sorts of curses. Also believe that Jin possibly knew he would die and that perhaps kenjaku explained to him whats going on. I dont believe jin was clueless especially if hes sukunas twin

Being an identical twin splits your cursed energy between the both of you, as it's considered a single soul that split itself into multiple containers. It doesn't create a good twin and evil twin.

We never seen the 19th finger ONSCREEN because that 19th finger was always in Yuji from the start.

Theory time. The conversation between grandpa and yuji´s father. Suggests a bunch of crazy psossibilities. 1) Kenjaku caused both of yuji´s parents to die. Mother killed and overtaken with his technique so he could use her womb and antigravity. Daddy replaced by Jin´s soul by making a deal with "soul information grandma". The soul information summoned for the ritual was Sukuna´s twin. So far we have only one example. But if Sukuna was the one to unlock massive cursed energy and potential. Could his twin have been the heavenly restricted one ( a la maki and mai)? If so, he could have taken full ownership of the body. 2) Yuji´s father knew it wasn´t his Kaori but didn´t care cause at least he got a son and his wife´s visage for a while longer. OR he actually straight up made a deal with Kenjaku to bring her back, but it wasn´t quite what he expected. In any case, I do believe Kenjaku and "sould information grandma" had something to do.

Something that i notice, look at Yuji's arms while fighting Sukuna and compare them to Chozo using blood manipulation on them and Mahito in his true form. Which one does it look more similar? The answer, Mahito... Yuji has been manipulating his soul and body on a low level this whole battle and we didn't realize

@@1hundred1 indeed but yuji makes megumis physicals look mid at best and the body also affects your performance despite your jujutsu prowess - hence current sukuna (full power) being physically stronger than Meguna and potentially yujikuna (given what we know about yuji now)
of course discerning the differnce in physicals would be a nigh impossible task as sukunas prowess and jujutsu likely makes the differences negligible - is what i wanna say, but then theres the fact that gojo wouldnt be able to knock out 4arm sukuna like he did meguna (at least this is what i think)
if current sukuna is an 10/10 in physicals, what would meguna and yujikuna be (assuming theyre all at the same finger level)

Some people think that it was as if he was talking to himself or trying to convince himself of the actions he takes. Could that have something to do with his twin brother. Isn't it possible for Sukuna mom to have had other kids before or after Sukuna. If so maybe that family line continued all the way to granpa itadori but the twin finally emerged from the Soul realm or whatever into Jin. Kenjaku was probably stalking that family line over the generations to see if something interesting like sukuna would pop up again and then came across Jin
