Reviewing the Troy-Bilt 30 Inch Three Stage Snow Blower with Electric Start

Testing the Troy-Bilt 30 Inch Three Stage Snow Blower with Electric Start after a storm that dropped 14 inches of snow. Features of this model include a 30 inch clearing width, Touch N Turn trigger controlled power steering, airless tires that never go flat, and a Vortex 3rd stage accelerator which handles snow up to 50% faster than a 2 stage Troy-Bilt snow blower. I've used this model for the past year and found it to be excellent at clearing snow from my long, sloped driveway, particularly heavy, wet snow.

Hi Niki, I love how your video shows the left side of this unit. I'm going crazy because I think mine is missing an oil plug cap, but it appears in your video either yours also ended up getting lost somehow or there simply isn't supposed to be one on the left side? (It would seem both the right and left should have the yellow/orange screw on cap. I literally can put my finger in the hole on the left side that I see in yours and it touches oil. Finding a part that fits has been challenging and I just discovered it's not even the same size as the oil screw in piece on the right side! Am I just crazy or are these literally supposed to have a hole on the left side where water/snow easily gets in and mixes with the oil?). The spot is just above the wheel in your thumbnail picture. It looks similar to the other side where there's a yellow/orange oil cap, but some reason there's no cap!

Airless tires? Then why does it have valve stems?

If those are airless tires why is there a valve stem showing on the machine in the video? I am aware of
Troy-Bilt makes some machines with the airless tires but they don't have a great traction and it's typically a non-directional tread unlike the arrow shaped seen in the video.

We have crazy wet snow. Does it throw that? My current 8hp snow blower does not.

Hi Niki. Would you please tell me what kind of fabric is on the floor of your hoophouse and what ml it is? Does it cover the whole floor or just around the beds. Thank you.

Check your friction wheel shaft bearings behind the wheels. Mine are toast one month out of warranty.
