Seen this comparison on around 2021 and bought it, and now I’m still using it, it sounds great the difference is just a hair, and now this pedal is part of my songwriting 🤘
That is so cool how the brownie keeps up with jcm 800
yes it is
I have a jcm800 in a box...a studio classic box...love that amp...
I mean... did you put ANY effort into dialing on the pedal?!
I have this pedal and love it. The high end needs to be backed off a bit, nudge up the vol and you get real close. Thanks for the video.
I have the GB and I'm kinda thinking of selling or trading it. Your video made me think, so is putting the presence on high the key? Also, the GB seems fizzy at high gain
Good equing! But the pedal sounds too compressed and not so open like the 800.
Let's hope they'll make afd100 in a box
Pedal clips sounded much more mid scooped and harsh. Guessing that's because of the fender's preamp section.would be interested to see this pedal go through other amps like a clean Mesa and clean marshall
Awesome pedal! And not the same cost! Thx you! :)
The pedals gain adds lower mids
Keep the pedal gain high and roll back guitar vol to match the amp tones
The amp sounds amazing. The pedal is just another tone sucking copy. It would probably sound great on my Peavey Triple XXX, but, I have been around enough to have learned to just save and have a plan to get the real thing.
You did a nice and honest video. The pedal gets very close, although it doesn't clean as good as the amp. Could the pedal have less gain and still sound good?
Thank you. It sounds ok with less gain but I think it does better with more
@@thejay Ok. Thanks.
Brownie/fender had way more compression
I really don't like this pedal here.
