why don't the $120 HC3 levers come with this stupid tool to hammer out the pin? it's the least magura could do considering the levers are so flimsy, you can't really be hammering the pin out with them in a vice, they would crumble...
How about the MT7? The pin only shows on 1 side, I don't want to hammer on it when it can't get out on the other side... How do I remove the panel covering it?
As shown in the Video: First, remove the BAT-pin. At that area the cover has a glue-free area, where you can start carefully pulling it off. The covers can be reused.

Hi Pauxx Tv, du kannst dich für einen günstigeren Bremsgriff entscheiden, allerdings muss dieser zwingend ein Carbotecture SL Gehäuse haben. I called Magura for a replacement lever for MT8s it was $120. Then I looked on ebay and they have a ebay store selling the identical one for $19.99. Check out ebay.
is the same if hammer one side or the other or it has a way?( in the video you hammer the side with the number 5 not the lever side with writes mt)
This is a much BETTER BRAKE LEVER DESIGN than the Previous VERSIONS less bushing SLOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

They've got them for the MT8, that's what I just bought.
the older style MT8 or the NEWER MT8 NEXT
it's listed as a MT8 Next but I've got the older style (2016) and it works great.
