I was lucky to be part of the background people in this film and I can tell you: the chemistry between all the cast was for real. Even off camera they had a great time together. The actors were all so nice and friendly. A couple came over and introduced themselves to me. I'm glad to see that people liked the movie, I was nervous it might look corny with us running from a tornado. Oklahomans are not normally surprised by tornadoes, we usually have a good heads up. Seldom do people run from tornadoes, maybe the ones out on the road looking to get out of their vehicles. The special effects are fantastic.
I watched this film in theatre (They show premier in Vietnam). The truth is that the 2024 Twisters is NOT an actual sequel of the 1996 twister. The storyline is not really connected to the 1996 version. Believe it or not, they do not mention anything about Jo and Bill from the original, so 2024 Twisters is the entirely different from the '96 version. The plot is completely fine, the science in the film is very accurate, the characters' development is as good as the original.
It's more like a loose sequel. Even though the original characters aren't mentioned at all. The media outlets are calling it a sequel. If there's a third film? I reckon they will do a Jurassic World: Dominion with it and have Helen Hunt's character return. I just have that feeling...
@@liceafilms It's definitely in the same universe! Because at the start as an Easter egg they had Dorothy IV on the Storm Sensor 🌀 At the end of the original Twister film it was Dorothy III... Just thought I'd put that out there
@@quanpham5239 character development, are you kidding? She was a brooding girl boss tornado psychic. (Then we have the blue pill douche and the hot bad boy)
honestly how the characters were handled, especially the Tornado Wranglers really impressed me. It's really similar to how the Duffers did Steve's character in ST where they initially gaev them an arrogant, unbearable personality. But as the movie progresses, their true, kind hearted nature really creeps in. And that one scene where Kate and Tyler were explaining ot Javi and Boone/Ben respectively, basically completing each other's sentences while being in 2 completely different vehicles really does do a good job of "show don't tell" of Tyler being just as knowledgeable as Kate when it comes to storms.
@@vivid6708 what scene has the best music out of the whole movie ima bet the theater scene has the best intense music either that or the we gotta go we gotta go scene
I love that the Tornado Wrangler truck is the Ram from the original movie in disguise. It was so fun!
Great Spotting! I wonder if Glen Powell's Character Tyler Owens is secretly Helen Hunt's Kid...
I love twister. I should watch this with ansar. I think it’s on prime
You both would definitely like it!

@@WhosTheMorley that is basically the only tie to the original movie. Unless I missed anything else, they never mention any of the old characters

I Agree 👍 Very Interesting Input!
Auger is the word you're looking for to screw the truck down
There you go 😂 Thanks for that. Never heard of an Auger till now 😂
@@WhosTheMorley I saw the movie last night, and they shouted during the tornado that they were going to put the augers down, but it was easy to miss.
Is the ost score good? Like the intense music is it good?

Ain't No Love in Oklahoma is very catchy!
We have characters deaths? Becáis e in twister there was very few. It seems to be Amaizing
It is a solid disaster flick! With what you asked. I just don't want to spoil it for anyone etc. Cheers for Watching 🙏
@@WhosTheMorley yes of course thanks for that and i understand The info 😉
