Twister was my favorite film as a kid in the 90s and early 00s. Even was gifted it on DVD for Christmas when they released it for when DVDs were the thing, lol. Deeply hoping this one is amazing and will be extremely disappointed it's not. Am seeing it on opening day in theaters though!
I saw this one and am absolutely blown away! I will go as far as saying that it's actually better than the original! The special FX are not just astoundingly good, but true to life and the storyline is so much more real. This feels like a true glimpse into the world of storm-chasing compared to the classic movie. Don't get wrong, for the time the 1996 film was great. However, and no pun intended, this blows it out of the water! There's no room for comparison now.

It really confuses me cause I've heard the cast and crew use the surnames 'Cooper' and 'Carter' interchangeably and it also changes depending on online source. So no clue what her last name is 😅
Apart from the ridiculous unrealistic ending thought was good movie,don't wanna spoil it for anyone but you can't stop mother nature especially the highest category tornado 🤦
***Potential Spoiler Review*** Keep in mind this is only my opinion. But with that being said - The visuals and special effects were incredible; the acting (despite the cringe dialogue) was honestly solid too. But the writing, directing and plot were comically bad. I actually laughed out loud at how stupid the first scene was at a point where it was supposed to be dramatic and sad. I couldn't take anything in this movie seriously but it was still fun to watch for the action. I will say Glen Powell did a phenomenal job with the terrible script he was given - his scenes were the hilight for me. Overall a solid 6.5/10
Hey Glen, PETA just informed us about the animal abuse in the movie you are in! Will never watch this movie. You should be aware of the movies you are promoting. One less actor I will watch.
Daisy is such an amazing actress, every time we get to see her on a big screen is a treat

I read somewhere else that Twister was the first movie ever sold on DVD, so if you still have that it may be worth a lot!
