I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

The profit he gained after releasing this song was actually donated to build a whole school library in china. He hope for the kids to have a good future and by this song DREAMS COME TRUE, we know what he wants for the students to achieve. Indeed the best boy 😔✊🏻

heeey if you like THE8 and seventeen, you should definitely react to "my i", its a duet between minghao and jun :)
the little 👌🏻 thing he does with his hands is a kind of thing he is known for. mostly doing it with both hands and putting them together to form an infinity sign. he's a really amazing person all around and despite not getting that many lines in songs he's really talented all around and deserves more love and recognition.

other member member who has solo projects is Dino, the maknae. he has a project called DANCEOLOGY, which he makes coreos of different songs (the most recent is of Avicii, Feeling Good), and also has two songs, Real Thing and Zero, that are really good (and he's style is far different from The8, so would be nice to see it)

Dino choreographed for My Flower, I'm pretty sure lmfao, he's my bias so I'm being biased lol but dinos one of my favourite dancers and I love his part in My Flower (he's the one in the plaid shirt)
he is interested in modern dance these days. he really loves to try different kinds of dance.
he and jun are taking dance class too omg
that backflip where they did the 'jump rope' looking thingy around him is actually common! in acro we do it a lot as its a safe way to do a back tuck with only two spots :D

You neeeeed to react to Dino from Seventeen!! He has posted multiple videos called *Dino’s Danceology* on their YT channel. Dino is my favourite dancer EVER in kpop, and I just love his style, it’s so unique. He is the youngest member of Seventeen, but he has so incredibly much talent! I’m pretty sure he choreographs all of his dances. And also, his most recent video (Feeling Good) is my favourite choreography by him so far, and it has some contemporary in it!

so glad you reacted to this!!! the performance version of the song is also great visually; he wears expensive clothing and it fits the vibe of the song more, but glad you appreciated his talent in all different styles of dancing! would love for you to react to his doodle diary where he showcases his contemporary abilities very well, it’s beautiful. and another must is the8 and jun’s (another chinese member of svt) solo, “my i”, its a masterpiece and the choreography uses the ribbon prop so beautifully and showcases both of their abilities and their physical chemistry so well!! thank you for checking this out, hope to see more seventeen reactions from you as well
and if you want to see more of his b-boying, there’s complications of it on youtube, the most recent one being him dancing on the show “knowing bro’s. he’s been dancing since he was very young; he was the leader of china’s youngest b-boy team and they went on a show for it! there’s also a clip of him performing at a i believe national b-boying competition and he was only.... i think 12? either way his talent is evident in that clip; if you search “the8 predebut bboy” or something along those lines you should find the clip!

What makes this single from him more special (aside from writing and choreographing it himself) the profits he gained from his single were all donated to an organization in China to build a library because he wanted to give opportunities for children to have their dreams come true.

You mentioned contemporary and solo pieces. So I just wanted to offer some videos to check out (whether reaction--which I would so appreciate--or otherwise--which I would still appreciate):
- THE8 Contemporary Art [Doodle Diary]: He ventures into more contemporary work while keeping his distinctive b-boy roots. It's short but so so sweet.
- [Special Video] SVT JUN&THE8 'MY I': They use a prop! Which is a delightful addition to the theme and complexity of the dance. There's two versions: the Chinese version is absolutely divine but there might be copyright issues, so the Korean version might be better.
- [DINO'S DANCEOLOGY] Avicii - Feeling Good: This is his most recent addition to his "Danceology" series of solo choreographies. In each one he gets better and better.
- [MV] SEVENTEEN(세븐틴) _ SVT PERFORMANCETEAM - ‘13월의 춤’: As the title indicates, this is their whole performance unit. So you can see more group work and formations, canons, etc.
They're all works of art, so I just wanted to share them with you and hear your thoughts. I'm sure you'd have a great time with them, especially since you can pick up on and appreciate the tiny details. (I have so many more recommendations of dances choreographed/performed by idols--like NCT/WayV's Ten and SHINee's Taemin--but I'll leave it here with my SEVENTEEN recommendations.)

I just come across your channel and I rarely subscribe to Kpop-based channels because I'm actually not _that_ much of a fan of Kpop even as a kid but I see Seventeen I can't *not* be a fan of such pure talents! Your insights on their dance and music is really interesting :) much love!

Everything has been said already by you or the comment so I'll just say that I love Minghao's dancing body lines so so so much I'm always amazed at how precise his movements are and guess how much time and work he puts into his choreos because sometimes when you're dancing you feel like all the movements are finished and clean and then record yourself and your elbows look ugly and your spins are too fast lmao but in this video, as it is impossible to compare minghao to the other dancers, it is so obvious he eats the song and is able to interpret it so beautifully.

you really should watch *My I* after this, it's quite similar in terms of choreography cuz it really catch his style and also Jun's (the other chinese member and part of the performance unit), who has some chinese traditional dance training, if I'm not wrong
You need to check out "My I" by The8 & Jun (SEVENTEEN's china line), they use a silk rope as prop, the silk rope are tied to their wrist, the way that they use it is so amazing. Speaking of prop, you should also check out SEVENTEEN's "No F.U.N", they all wear suit and use ạn umbrella as prop, it's like watching Kingsman, it's awasome:))

Hey I have a show for you that you can watch while the quarantine from dancer to dancer. The show is call "hit the stage" and their are the best dancers of kpop competing each other to win this show. (was few years ago but you can still watch it in the internet) A few of your favorite kpop dancer was in this show like taemin, ten, ....
