- Scenic drone shots and cinematic clips of our trip to the hotel zone of the town of Puerto Vallarta in Mexico and the state of Jalisoc. I had recently moved to the town of Puerto Vallarta and been staying in the marina by the airport. I had also gone to Sayulita, Nuevo Vallarta, Zona Romantica recently.
I also traveled around in Mexico and all of the west coast including places like Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo, Puerto Escondido, Mazatlan, Cabo san Lucas and many more places. Don'[t forget to check those videos out also!

I always go WOW when I see that drone footage. You are helping me see what area I should stay in. Been 25 years since I have been here retiring & hope to stay for a month or more next winter. We have been to Cancun 4 times but PV seems so much better for a long trip.

William, If you want a bus to stop in Mexico, just put your arm out strait from your shoulder. Do not wave. The drivers may just wave back and go by. Hope this helps you.

@@jeffyeah4256 Hi Jeff, sorry I'm not William but may I offer up some places? Mexico is such a huge country with great diversity all throughout. 4 or 5 days is so tough. Where are you coming from? Do you want to relax on a beach? Do you want city culture? My husband and I have spent time in Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa, Mazatlan, Mexico City, and Acapulco. We loved it all! We are in the process of moving to Mexico from Vancouver, Canada, as our home town and country have changed so drastically, they no longer serve our needs. A lot of people we know are relocating to Mexico and Central America for the changes in politics there. The El Salvador government has recently instated Bitcoin as its national currency, and 5 other countries including Mexico are considering ther same. We're looking forward to checking out the east coast of Mexico this time, as we've heard from many that the beaches are great!...♥️

That busy main road is Mexico 200 the main highway along All the West Coast of Mexico, from north to south.
Many of those hotel resorts will let you eat at their restaurant, just ask at several, some do and some don't as you found out.
Enjoyed this video as well as All your others. It's nice to see your drone shots of the areas where I live now after moving here from Wimberley near San Marcos where you went to college.

William, there are restaurants along by the beach especially at the south end of the Malecon before the Pier. La Langosta Loca has a two-level palapa on the sand (Playa Los Arcos) where you can enjoy the breeze on the upper level when it's hot outside. Also, Mi Pueblito is right on the sand.

William, I love those pool tricks, and music to feature workout! You should go to Acapulco and train with divers there. I was just down in Manzanillo a couple weeks ago. You had inspired me to visit there! Gorgeous place, like Puerto Vallarta, the Pacifico side.

There are many restaurants in the North Hotel Zone; you didn't even have to walk that far... Also, there are several shopping malls with restaurants. Where you were photographed, in front of the letters "Mexico", there is a very good Mexican food restaurant (Porfirios). You enter the public beach next to the Icon, which is next to the Hilton. Vallarta is really beautiful and the people are very friendly; how well you chose te city to stay for a while.

When you asked directions to a restaurant, you were right next door to the Los Tules Resort that has a very nice restaurant called Cafe Chapultapec that allows visitors.

I've been to Puerto Vallarta but I didn't know that hotel zone existed. I don't know how I missed that but it's pretty. The beaches are beautiful. Not quite like Cancun but better then I thought. Good music choices on this and Maria is lovely as always. I bet you agree. 😎

i hear the high pitch bird noise outside a walmart here in utah. it reminds me of the mexican towns by the beach. they are like little scavenger birds looking for something to eat around the cars.

For future reference, there is a great beach restaurant for the public down by Secrets. If you had kept walking on the beach another 10 minutes, you would have been there.

the Malecon is great for walking every day or watching awesome sunsets - also try Basilio Badillo street in Zona Romantica. Try also secret steps/path to Conchas Chinas beach. Also blue flag Playa Palmares is great with a nice outdoor restaurant by the road - take a bus or short taxi ride there. A challenging hike are the steps up to El Mirador.

Used to be more like a small town without many big hotels. Zona romantica was just old town as I recall. I remember seeing an old brick building with a faded 'Hotel California' on it.
100% - PV is now starting to look like Acapulco. . I lived there in the mid 70's during my wonder years, then after 10 plus years it became ALL commercialized and went down hill from there. . 😞
Hey Willy different busses stop in different places, hey by the way any idea on what those town houses are selling for @ the marina? If you go to sorananas there's a path kinda to the beach you have to scooch through on the south side search around I am sure you found it by now?

Go to La Bodeguita del Medio in Centro. They claim to be the creators of the Mojito (and they are the best my fiance and I have ever had), plus they love salsa dancing there. I don't know if people are salsa dancing there yet due to COVID-19. Great video, you two look great there (and happy)!

Try the seafood burritos at the TACON DEL MARLIN right across the aiport. Delicious!!
I also recommended you EL COLEGUITA, which is walking distance from your place in the marina. It is all seafood including lobster. Affordable too. Enjoy.

The best time to visit Puerto Vallarta is between April and June when the weather is pleasant and the room rates are affordable. During these months, rain is scarce and there are fewer tourists compared to the winter high season.
No the rain comes in May already. It has been cloudy lately. Best time to go is January to April

You really missed out on some good food at the Hotel Zone beach. It's mostly condos, not hotel, they should call it the condo zone. As you face the beach from Francisco Medina Ascencio Blvd, to the right of the La Isla Center, and to the left of the Rio Pitillal , there's a walkway and dirt road for beach access, and right when you get the beach is El Oasis de Holi restaurant. I eat there all the time and the food is very tasty. Typical mexican food, mostly seafood.

Nice video. Is the Marina a good place to rent?, we are going to see if we like it there so we can probably move for at least a year, we are a retired couple from the USA. How far is Marina from Zona Romantida? Thank you in advance
