I’m looking to keep the car a good 10 to 15 years. I want something reliable and I’m not sure which of these two engines is more reliable. I really appreciate it and thank you everybody
The 2.0 liter naturally aspirated port injected engine is most definitely the most reliable, no comparison. The 1.5T has a turbo, and is direct injected. A smaller direct injected turbo engine will not last as long as a bigger naturally aspirated port injected engine. If you want it to last 10-15 years, get the 2.0 👍🏻
The Civic is very difficult to back up because of the high trunk line. You basically have to rely on the rear camera when backing into a parking space.
@@anitamandella5751 No, (in America) it comes in 2 litre normally aspirated or 1.5 litre turbocharged (for DX/LX/EX/Si, and 2 litre turbocharged (Type R). Hi everyone! Can anybody vehicle expert guide me here? I am already using HONDA CIVIC LX 2018 CVT which provides me 34 combined MPG (31city, 40 hwy) but i am planning to switch to HONDA CIVIC SPORT 2020 CVT regular which provides 32 combined MPG (29 city, 37 hwy). In SPORT 2020 regular is ok with 87 fuel but if i am in SPORT MODE so recommended fuel should be 93 so what if i don't use SPORT MODE in case so i am ok with 87 fuel?
I am buying this car but i am gonna sell it after 2 years because i wanted to buy a toyota cross but costed a bit out of my budget so i needed a daily driver so i bought this.
I had a TERRIBLE experience with Honda back in 1983 when I got the FIRST CRX delivered to NorthWest Florida. It was the 1.3 model that actually got 67MPG Highway/51MPG City. I had numerous issues with the A/C and the drivers door fit along with some mystery fluid dripping down the instrument panel like a Horror movie. I filed under the Florida Lemon Law as they never fixed the issues. Honda sent down an arbitrator who paid the Florida Lemon law 20cents a mile refund. We lost our butt on this car as I had window tinting added $125 (which at the arbitration the sales manager threw me a razor blade and told me if I want my window tint, I could scrape it off), a Concord excellent stereo upgrade $1500 (which at the arbitration the sales manager tried to give me a $100 check for so I took it out!) and lastly I kept the fuel receipt as I expected to be refunded for the 3/4 tank unused fuel (which at the arbitration the sales manager called back to service and told them bring this Assh&%# a hose because he wants to suck his gas out). I was really pissed! I went back to the dealer a week later as I saw my car back on the lot with a NEW window sticker and a NEW instrument cluster with about 8 miles on it! It had visible wear on the tires and a tiny mark on the rear bumper coupled with the car was so new, it was impossible to find one so I knew this was my car. The sales guy came out and I told him that was my old car and they were attempting to sell it as new! He went inside and the sales manager came out and told me he called the Sheriff and they were going to put a trespass warrant out on me. They actually did that and the manager said I could never enter the property again. There is so much more I could tell you about these guys but I won't go on. Needless to say, I can never deal with Honda again after this experience! I still have my personalized license plate I registered it in Florida that reads "67MPG". If you search on the internet, there are almost no record of this model even existing. Most sites only show the first CRX having a 1.5 engine with much lower fuel ratings. Also the lower plastic panels of my model had the light grey paint (not the dark grey of the 1.5 model) just to show I am not making this up. Horrible experience that you would think Honda would make right!
@@DriversOnly Yes, now we have servers and databases that can't "Easily" alter titles and registrations and such. I did check a few years back and I still cannot walk on the dealership they informed me so THAT hasn't changed. No clue other than BIG OIL getting involved why the original GAS only model was terminated. It was way ahead of its time and still would be EPA champ TODAY! Not a conspiracy, just a fact.
@@DriversOnly Things have not changed. Honda dealerships still have a horrible reputation. Honda dealerships are known for being very snobbish, arrogant, and giving almost no discount on their vehicles. They try very hard to sell all their vehicles, even a crappy base Civic or Fit LX at full MSRP sticker price. Toyota on the other hand, give YUGE discounts.

You love the "girth"
Too bad they gave the SI cancer on the rear bumper. :(
Does the civic sport sedan take premium or regular
Whichever you prefer for your engine, I started with Regular but then started using premium so it runs better and last longer.

Maybe things changed within the last 40 years.
@@andrew.woolman7449 Agree..The dealers are arrogant..the Honda ones....I bought two Honda so far...the dealers gave no discount.. I must say though the cars never gave me any problem....!!
Wish the sedan had the 1.5T though.
They don’t have automatic seats?
Not on the sport trim, on higher trims yes.
My 2020 sport has power drivers seat manual passanger seat
