If they're not too "production intensive", some of the rural canal footage in the same style would be welcome as well. Stay healthy gents... As I write this, the old Battersea Power Station is passing by on the port side. When you went by on the down river trip I gave it a little google, as it is soo familiar to any of us who appreciate the Pink Floyd from days gone by. Reading of the rebirth of the Battersea precinct, it's a pity some rich Briton's sense of humour and history didn't extend to tethering a pink pig dirigible to the old Power Station, as part of the update...

I was so happy to see this on here. My husband and I have been watching you for a while and wondered if you would ever do this trip. I was born and grew-up in Brentford. It looked nothing like this when I was there. I was born in 1947 (yes I'm nearly 73), and my Dad used to work in the Brentford docks. As kids it was our stomping grounds, down by the canal, but it is very modern. In our days people didn't want to touch Brentford with a barge pole lol. Chiswick and Kew also were our favorite haunts. So, all in all you made an old lady very happy today. Thank you. By the way, Brentford has so much history, along with Isleworth, along the Thames. Syon House. The London Apprentice, Kew Gardens area, Strand on the Green at Chiswick. Memories ♥

Absolutely loved this video. Would really enjoy watching live feeds like this on the canals when you three are traveling, just to get a feel of what everyday life on a narrowboat feels like....the good and bad, calm and stressful.

Two things stand out about this. one , it's weird not having Shaun going "ya can't say that" and two, just how dirty is the Thames? looks like Willy Wonka's chocolate river only the colouring is S**T flavour lol
You need to do one of these REALTIMES along a beautiful canal besides that looks a bit SCARY along the thames thought you get run over by a bigger ship lol nice vid boys

I lived and worked in the City for 9 years. Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing this view which I’ve never experienced. Great to pass under Tower Bridge. 👍🏻💪🏻 Sad to see the plastic bottles floating by. Seeing the seal was cool. But seeing the body float past was disturbing to say the least. 😮 Cool journey 🤷🏻♂️

I'm really wanting to try a narrowboating holiday (if lockdown restrictions ease) but I do get sea sick. This is probably a silly question as your on a river but there is still a current. Do you guys ever feel sea sick on the rivers or canals?
What a great beginning - the lock gates open and we see how rough the water is the other side, then, right on cue, the seagulls start up! Then, as we sit on the edge of our seats as Silver Fox approaches the river, Shaun hits the horn and we collectively jump of those seats! I know you said it was rougher and busier going this way, but I still think you got off lightly, the week-day traffic is far more than that, and you get a lot more of those speed boats and passenger ferries in non-Covid times. Once they're clear of Tower Bridge, those big passenger boats can go full power, and they have engines that sound like turbo jets - they really shift once they get going (deafening if you're on the boat!) If one of those had gone past, even at half power, you'd have been swamped. Did you hear any more about the other narrowboat that got into trouble?
Love this! What a great tour! It was nice to just see the old and every bridge you pass becomes a new age in time. Some saddened me to see such a beautiful past and go under the bridge to a new age of modern high rise and glass that really didn't even look like it belonged there at all but was happy to see your travels through it.

When you got to the castle like structure on the left and the Ferris wheel on the right before a bridge, nearing the end of the journey I got sad that it was almost over. I seen an Ubber boat pass you at that point and never knew they existed I only thought they had cars. I am from the old witch city of Salem MA. USA I am anti development but you just cant stop it. The old is what people love to see and it brings in the tourist but people with the big bucks just dont get the fact that the old is so much nicer to see. Love all your video's on the canals and hope you make another like this one with maybe a few captions of the names of the castle structures. thank you for all the videos you two love birds post. your wonderful together.
