I used a Rog Strix XG27ACS over the weekend and I'm sending it back to get this one. I learned that I don't mind a little blacksmearing, it never really bothered me on my old va monitor. I just can't stand the ips glow and having grey instead of black colors

The AOC monitor is 60 dollars more expensive than the asus do you think it’s worth it?

@abdullah_z101 for me 100%. Depends how much you like black being actually black. I use my pc for everything, I don't even have a TV, so picture quality is very important to me.

@@abdullah_z101they are pretty different monitor though, if you play single player game, AOC will be better, if you play more multiplayer games, the ASUS will be better, though the AOC isn’t incompetent.

yeah, the display panel is VA, and the backlight is not edge-lit but mini-led with individual dimming zones. It's apples and oranges, they're not connected.

Just lock your frame rate to the lowest average fps your game hits

Yes, but it shouldn't really be an issue if your fps is consistent. If your fps isn't consistent in a game then you can just frame limit

In the last couple of days the image at some point starts flashing, but without flashing the light that remains white constant! It did this to me a few hours ago and I pressed On/Off and it didn't do it again. What do you think?
