Sorry about the jarring cuts from 12:15 - 12:20 During that time, I originally talked about the message of Inside Llewyn Davis and put a timecode for people who don’t want spoilers to skip to. However, the timecode got messed up, so I just edited that part out altogether. Oopsie doopsie
Loved your video. I just subscribed. Here’s my list: Ranking (from worst to best): 18. The Lady Killers (2004) 17. Intolerable Cruelty (2003) 16. The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) 15. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) 14. Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) 13. Raising Arizona (1987) 12. Barton Fink (1991) 11. Hail, Caesar! (2016) 10. Blood Simple (1984) 9. The Man Who Wasn’t There (2001) 8. Burn After Reading (2008) 7. A Serious Man (2009) 6. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) 5. True Grit (2010) 4. Miller’s Crossing (1990) 3. The Big Lebowski (1998) 2. Fargo (1996) 1. No Country for Old Men (2007)
A Serious Man became a top 3 after maybe my third watch. Rewatchable as hell. That rich Coen world thing: small/bit part characters which leave you wanting more. Nice to see it up this high here.
_No Country_ was one of my first "real cinema" movies after being an Scary Movie and American Pie child (no shame), and when Brolin character was killed off screen I just can't believe it, I was so mad, haha good times
Great ranking but The Big Lebowski takes place in 1990, not the seventies. You can see the news in the opening scene when the US is invading Iraq for the first time. Walter also discusses the Iraq invasion.

One of the greatest filmography ever. Coen are the best 😊
4:31 The screenwriter has a critic!

Solid ranking and awesome video, keep up the good work man
My forever top 3 Coen Bros films:
3) The Hudsucker Proxy
2) Raising Arizona
1) The Big Lebowski
Same!!!
as your neighbor, i better rank top 5 in that next ranking video
_No Country_ was one of my first "real cinema" movies after being an Scary Movie and American Pie child (no shame), and when Brolin character was killed off screen I just can't believe it, I was so mad, haha good times
Great video man! Glad i found it
Our top 4 are the same, though my order would have Serious Man first, followed by Fargo, No Country, and then the Dude.
Huh. I knew the first time meme came from a movie, but I didn't expect it to come from a Coen Brothers movie. I will check out that movie eventually.

i wanna play super coen bros maker 2
also good list
nice list. I would put Hail Caesar and Buster Scruggs higher. Maybe Barton Fink and Raising Arizona lower.
You really need to study shakespeare more
Yeah, Fargo is great, The Big Lebowski is possibly the most overrated movie of all time except Titanic.
Yeah well, ya know. That’s just like your opinion man.
Booooo!
