Wow! The first story was crazy! You should try to find longer stories like those. I think they would do great on this channel. Thanks for all you do let’s read! 😊
The first story finally explains why psych wards go out of their way to put you in rooms with someone else. To keep people from doing something stupid... Good to know. I've stayed at multpile, and so far, it was just an annoyance, but it's good to know there's a reason.
As someone who has been spiked, the Theo story rang true to my experience after 1 glass of wine, I couldn’t speak first of all just slurring and mumbling but was still able to walk, then i completely lost all control of my body and just dropped to the ground like tonne of bricks, luckily my friends were there and I was brought into my friends flat safely
@@jacobbowling263 Jacob the way you talk is very disturbing. Either you have severe autism or your just a weirdo but it's been going on for six months or more. The last line of that first story was so touching, I just sat there mouth open. I had to pause, process it and cry a little. As a person who 1. was an acloholic 2. ended up on a psych ward over alcoholism and suicidlal ideation 3. made a great friend during my time there after years of living life with literally no friends and lastly 4. is an athiest but still swayed into nearly painful starstruckness by the concepts of unconditional forgiveness that exist in the bible and specifically in jesus christ, I can tell you that this story will stay with me forever. At least one commentor described it as bittersweet but to me it's so pure. The lowness, the connection, the heartbreak, the horror...and the reconnection. I want to wear this "story" like a gem above my heart for as long as I will remember it.
Joel man, you knocked it out of the park buddy. That first story gave me anxiety, for real😅…. That was another amazing piece of art. Keep up the great work. Definitely tied up in first place with Mr. Nightmare. 👍🏼👏🏼🤟🏻👊🏼
I once stayed at a hostel. There were these weird guys who lurked around making chit chat with us back packers. I’ll never forget this strange tattoo they all had it was the head of a Blood hound. I believe written under it was written “Elite Hunting”?? 😂😂😂🎃🎃🎃
Heard stories about how Americans 🧳 abroad and are preyed on by being drugged then robbed and or murdered or trafficked. I think people are being hunted in national Parks because so many go missing and you only find a body some of the time.
I can see Wakefield prison from kitchen window. I was cooking dinner while listening to the 1st story. It's not nice living so close to monster mansion. But I often watch and wonder what life is like inside there.
I have a similar story to the first one involving a good friend of mine but don’t want to really discuss it. It’s just one of those things you lock away deep inside, I will say it was definitely surreal like how this guy described it
Bunny? Dude, I'm more afraid of that small possum I saw last night... He may have been small but that doesn't mean anything lol excellent narration as always, these stories definitely give one pause for thought before traveling to another country
As someone who has spent most their childhood and teenage years growing up in Byron Bay and Mullumbimby, there is a very dark side to both towns (more so Byron); but the media does their best to hide these sort of thing, as they don't want it to affect the amount of tourists that visit each year. The cops seem to be equally pathetic, as they are a lot more interested in arresting teenagers for the smallest amount of weed. Don't get me wrong, it's is a very beautiful place but there is a ridiculous amount of crime that goes under the radar. My mother bumped into Theo's father when he arrived in Byron, she offered her condolences and ended up embracing Theo's father in a consoling hug. As you can imagine he was completely distort and could barely speak through tears, but said he would keep returning to Byron to look for his son. It was heart breaking to hear. On a more positive note; thank you Lets Read for a great report! Unfortunately I have to agree with you in regards to what you think may of happened, and still his happening in Byron Bay and the surrounding area; for all it's beauty there is a dark dark truth hidden beneath.

I have been Byron Bay many many times, it definitely is a hippie place. Reminds me of Brighton in England, apart from Brighton has no sun and has pebbled and shelled beaches.
That first story is perfect for an animated short film, where they feature expressive faces and the video itself has no dialogue, just an emotional piano piece in the background and a sadder ending, with the guy who killed his wife committing suicide and leaving a note for the guy that betrayed him, saying he forgives him for doing that, and he wishes he was there to stop him from doing all of this.
It’s hilariously fucked up how a woman can cheat on her husband and somehow she still gets to steal the guys house, keeps the kids and probably still get alimony and child support. But if the guy cheats for some reason the courts act like because of that the woman is entitled to basically everything he has. So u would think that means when the woman cheats she shouldn’t be entitled to anything but nope u still get fucked

In the third story I can understand y yann would be afraid of what the Egyptian government would do if he talks about what happened but at the same time if the Egyptians were to do anything like kill him or his family then that would basically be an act of war. If agents of a foreign government were to step foot onto French soil and cause harm or even kill some of their citizens then the French would have no choice but to declare war on Egypt or if it gets out that Yann was tortured or subjected to some type of trauma then the whole world would be aware that the same thing could happen to any of their citizens if they were to travel to Egypt and I would think that the countries that r part of the United Nations would most likely decide that none of them will continue to trade with or have any contact with Egypt and they would basically shut Egypt off to the rest of the world and any countries that ignore this would also be shut out.

The first story is bitter sweet. But very sad. I actually pictured the 2 men with happy endings. He did the right thing.
Damn that first story was powerful and what happened after... Just... Damn...
He betrayed his best friend. He is a loser.
Would make a great movie
I know. That story made me feel depressed for a bit.

on that first story when the Andy guy said that his wife had an affair and she got the house.. that's probably the worst part of this whole thing

The case of Theo Hayez is perplexing.
I noticed a few things looking at the Aussie news sites on UA-cam: most of the comments sections are turned off.
What are they hiding?
Is there a serial killer in NSW?
Or as Joel suggested, a human trafficking ring?
The only body of many people gone missing was Thea Liddle, in some abandoned house outside of town. Who gave the cops that tip?
When Theo got to the beach, was he alone? I read he watched a comedy clip while there (was he showing someone?) and was on Whatsapp, like all was well.
The bartender, or whoever threw him out of the bar sure seems suspect: How easy would it be to drug his drink, throw him out for being intoxicated, then have an accomplice lure him to the beach, then take him?
From reading further on this case, the whole thing screams lazy police work.
