Thank you for this! Been wanting to watch this episode for so long but didn’t have a subscription. Andrew is hands down my favorite grappler. Crazy how he can still compete with his back like that. I’ve had a disk problem in my lower back for 10 years from a work injury. It definitely affects my jiu-jitsu when it flares up and I’m constantly having to do specific physical training and use an inversion table to keep it from going out and when it does, I’m off the mat for 2 weeks. It sucks.
As far as I know seeing a comment from Heath not long ago Andrew is still down with PSF and part of PSF. But, he stepped away because some of the Daisy Fresh crew including Couch apparently dismissed his mental health issues. Piecing together what Andrew's said online, there likely were other issues with generally unhealthy relationships amongst the team that he wanted to get away from. So he peaced out to focus on seminars, instructional videos, and other initiatives with his brother and others. I imagine once he returns to competing he will fight under PSF. Whether or not he returns to training or reconciles with the current PSF team at their new facility remains to be seen.

Technically depending on your insulation you are spending more money heating up the already cold room vs. Keeping it at a moderate temp. I'd say keeping it at 60s would suffice. Try it out. If the bill looks lower than you just don't put the heat on much at all lol

But is his whole game here just to wait for the other guy to commit so he can sweep him? It seems like a counter style? But it also seems like a tactic that can result in very few submissions and kind of risk free (I know it isn't but compared to attacking more aggressively). I mean if the game is to survive. Well he wins. But if the game is to kill it seems a bit... meh. imo. But I could very well be analyzing it wrong. What is your opinion on this? (And no I am not a hater)
in BJJ competition, there's a point structure. if he was up on points at that moment, then he has no need to put himself at risk just to win by sub if he's already going to win on points alone. the other guy is trying to pass to even the score, and he has to work against the clock since his score was lower.

Without Andrew competing they don't really have anyone in the top tier. It's a shame he missed adcc trials because none of their other guys even came close except Couch who likely will be in the top tier in a few years if he keeps progressing like he is and takes the required supplements
