- It's not rare that I think about these two and suddenly find myself spontaneously crying in public because when it comes this ship, I have no control over my emotions. They deserved an eternity of happiness together.
This is one of my all time favorite songs and I'm so glad I got to edit it to one of my favorite ships even though it's, you know, a sad one. Oh, and can you tell I'm a sucker for parallels?

Matthew is forever in my thoughts. Julian Fellowes wrote the most compelling love story and Dan Stevens was the perfect actor for this role.

Yeah, I do think that's all on Dan Stevens though, for leaving the show so suddenly. But it's just so sad, especially thinking of HOW HAPPY he is right before he dies.

That bit where you see Matthew slouchling on his bed then george, makes me weep with sadness not even 5 minutes. He didn't even get 5 minutes. Why couldn't Dan Stevens have stayed longer.

I finally had the chance to watch this show for the first time these past weeks, and I finally finished it this week. It was a good show and I liked it, but yeah Sybil and Matthew's deaths were so shocking and such a let down, they were both my favorites and at some point I didnt want to watch anymore, but I continued just because I was curious of how things were going to continue without him and because I wanted to know what was going to happen to my other favorites like Tom and Ana. Anyway I liked Matthew and Mary's story, and it was so sad how things ended for them (I love you Dan Stevens but why??!!) I feel like Mary lost a part of her when Matthew died, and you showed some of that here. Mary was never one of my favorites, but I think I liked her more when she was with Matthew ups!!

I'm more ready for s1-3 than 4-6 honestly. But maybe I'll just stop watching after 2x09. And then they all lived happily ever after, the end!

Just finish bingeing the whole series last week. The love story btw Mary n Mathew is quite nice. Tho I felt that Harry Talbot was thrown in at the last minute just to give Mary a happy ending that she didn't deserve.

Literally I cried watching this, they were made for each other, and now that is what you call a power couple. I wish Dan hadn’t left otherwise we would have gotten more of Matthew,and don’t hate me for this but Mary and Henry look like they are in a forced relationship and really don’t match lol.
