      Hmmm. It seems as those Miri Ben-Ari and Black Violin came out around the same time. Miri Ben-Ari performed on Apollo in 2003. Per the timeline that he mentions, Black Violin actually sent a tape to Apollo in 2002. Both Miri Ben-Ari and Black Violin played at clubs, etc.... during the same early time period-- early 2000s. If Black Violin had started after Miri became famous, I would totally agree. However, I don't think they can be wrong for stating how they came into the blend of mixture of classical, hip hop and R&B.

    ted never seems to have the strongest audio engineers foh the ones they bring up, the drums are not mics correctly at all for this type of room and over heads are so damn loud you need more of a front reflective surface to block as much bleeding noise so you don't get phase issues between the top and bottom mics between every other mics the rooms reflectivity and the speakers or else you loose all your low end and it sounds tinny like this. besides that these dudes are awesome

    • @gaylalesley5900
      @gaylalesley5900 9 років тому

      William A. Roesler They are not the first but they have taken it to a whole new level. The first to do this was a jewish woman who beat the crap out of everyone at the Apollo. You try and look that up and see who you come up with.

    Terribly out of tune, yet stylish and innovative. Since very few people have perfect intonation, I suspect most people won't realize the pitch of their notes is very wrong.
