This guy is intresting. He knows well what he is doing, and devote himself to it. It is not common for an engineer to say "I want to be a great inventor and change the world", or a kid saying he would like to be somebody. But that guy really talks about the change that he could make, and that makes sense somehow.
I wish hip hop artist today can learn about other genres of music. It will help the genre in every way. It will help them become better artists. They should incorporate other elements to their music.
@francis_jamesnyc *"Hip hop is the world culture it's in everything. Everyone can relate somehow."* Hip-Hop culture is a Bronx thing that died out in the early 1980s. Rap music and culture reigns supreme.
Naw most people can't relate but it's appealing that's why you would have kids In the suburbs listening to king von or a young Dolph so then you will have a suburb kid doing the same things because it's cool now our culture just spreader to the burbs
I would like anyone to answer this question and I will give you time to do your research about hip-hop ......who is and what is the foundation of hip-hop keep in mind not the 3 founder father of Hip Hop....?????.....I waiting for your answer or your ideas 💡
So why don't you just search the keyword? The topic of this speech is "why hip hop is world culture". silly man you just go to Burgerking and ask for a beer, then shouted after being rejected. are you already drunk?
@hollow 20 they can be their own cultures but still be recognised on a world stage, which also makes them global cultures! 🤷🏻♀️ This is a natural process, like non-Scottish people wearing tartan and non-tribal people getting tattooed. All cultures end up being shared eventually, that doesn't make tartan any less Scottish or tattooing any less tribal. 🤙🏻
@@montbrink4700 That's some naive talk. I live in Canada where there are no ghettos and we don't have the history of slavery and Jim Crow. The majority of blacks up here only arrived in the 60s and 70s from Africa and the Caribbean. Many of the young guys I grew up with got into to drug dealing and gang culture. How do you explain this given that we didn't experience the same conditions as our African-Americans counterparts?
he said.. the street artists of today are the graffiti artists of yesterday... i dont know why you think that its two different worlds when they are at least in the same neighborhood.
He was talking about the average amount of different words that the genre as a whole uses. The average hip hop song has some 400 average words per song (which is still higher than other genres).

For the record, for US, Hip Hop culture begins August 11, 1973, DJ Kool Herc 1520 Sedgwick Ave., Bronx, NY... WORD!!😎
That's not true. Hip-hop comes from funk and disco music.
Wrong.... I wish yall stop telling this BOLD FACE LIE...
These two are not mutually exclusive. DJ Herc took the breaks from soul and funk records and that became the bedrock of Hip Hop.
this looks like a school lesson I would gladly attend to
