Excellent jig! Thanks for taking the time to share. I appreciate the simplicity of the design, and absolutely agree with the 'no fancy tools or equipment necessary' sentiment. There are so many tutorials out there that assume we all have bottomless pockets stuffed with cash to spend on esoteric gizmos to 'simplify' our lives.
What none of these latch jig videos on youtube make really clear is that you HAVE TO use the appropriate template type/top bearing bit not explicitly pointed out in the video, otherwise you will just eat into the jig.
@@topnotchfinishing Apologies, my mistake. It's a very helpful video overall. I thought it was very important to make it super clear from the very start the kind of router bit required as its easily overlooked and use a normal bit so ruining the rig. Thanks for the video. I found it most useful.
