One of my favorite coin-op video games as a teenager back in the '80s. Always won the tag team championship with The Unltimate Warrior and Ted DiBiase. Hard to believe Mr. Perfect, The Big Bossman, Earthquake, Hawk from Legion of Doom and now The Ultimate Warrior are gone. Watching those guys every Saturday morning we thought they were large than life.
You're a wrestling stud, whaleman 11. I had to spend about $1-$2 in quarters to beat all the teams up to L.O.D. on the first series of matches. You did it on one quarter. Major props!
Pausing it at 2:23 says it all... Hogan and Warrior are bending over ready for high fives while Slaughter is reluctantly cornholin Hogan.. while the ref has a devious smile as this whole morbid scene goes on
Road warriors were their original name. They are the Legion of Doom here. Animal was the coolest, and their special move was the most extreme thing the wwf allowed back then: Animal putting the guy on his shoulders and Hawk clotheslining him off from the top rope.
The real Hogan and Warrior didn't have nearly this big of a wrestling move selection.... DAMN if only this game had entrances and just a few more charactors like HITMAN and Rayzer Ramon
My kid days were awesome with this game.. I was a decent player of this in early 90,s..i do remember i love to play with ted dibiase n warrior however i had finished this game with all the players.. To makr end with demolton Brothers was very tough
We used different tactics, most of it was when you tried to pick them up by hair and couldnt then you ran and clothes lined them until you could pick opponent up by hair. Cool game.

@GiantPantherTX It would have been seven if Andre the Giant and Macho Man Randy Savage had made it into the game. I loved Andre and the Macho Man, too. :(
this game's the best 2D wrestling game .if they could improve the graphics and smooth the moves it would be great . they are lots of réedited old games on PS2 & X360 with betters graphics
Blaznangel, I think it's due to licensing rights. WrestleFest was made by Tecnhos, and LJN had home console rights for the WWF games at the time. But now we can enjoy WrestleFest in its original format on MAME, so it's all good.
Yeah dawg, try this on uhhh not normal? The arcades never had it on normal. LoD wouldnt tolerate you getting that close on Hard... but its all good, well done and thanks for posting.
i used to spend so much money on this game as a kid... at my local mall arcade Alladdin's Castle it was this game, the X-men game and the TMNT arcade game LOL

I long for the glory days of the arcade. A true classic indeed. I never had the chance to beat that game. I usually lost in the cage.
This was one of my favorite arcade games and definitely the best wrestling game ever. Man, I miss it.
