Very nice. The one concern about rebuilding a watch is the movement. When you order the extract from the archive, the serial number will most likely indicate that it is a Seamaster and not a Ranchero. That is more concerning to me than seeing the dent on the side of the case. Just me. haha. But if you're happy with the project, then it's all good. :-D
@@TimelessHistoryChannel yes, this is very true. Unfortunately the Omega Extract of Archives program is on hold, possibly permanently. And I wouldn’t order an archive Extract on it knowing that I made it from separate parts. Plus, when I eventually sell it, i will disclose that is made from separate, but authentic parts. Thank you for watching, Derrick!
Thrilling project! congratulations...your watchmaker must be a champion! I am surprised at how available some NOS parts are ...Does the project in the end lead to selling one or the other? great video as usual
@@artblend4278 you are super kind!...thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, I think I will.be selling the previous Ranchero which is not much worse actually. I was very lucky that these parts found their way to me!
Great video!! I'm actually working on one myself, the only thing I can't seem to find is the arrow hands. Is it possible to know where did you find one set?
A fascinating project! Beautiful watches.
Congratulations! You must have the cleanest ranchero in existence now.
@@revenanke3132 thanks!...yes...it was a long time coming. Only problem is I'm afraid to wear it!...lol
Beautiful

@@barrilitomusic I found the hands on eBay....did you find a dial?...that's the hardest part....good luck.
@ funny, I found the dial on eBay from a German seller and I’ve found some 2990 handsets but the price is out of my budget.
